NaPoWriMo-2016 - 10. Day 10: I Am Afraid

A challenge been accepted by me to confess about what I am afraid of most in my life. Tim2, here you got yourself Omar Khayyum Style Rubaiyat.

 

I'm afraid that I might be die alone.

Out in the world, love is like a war zone.

All they want is payoff, but not amour.

Yet the love-light, for me, that never shown.

This is a sad poem, Emi, but I think you chose wisely with the form. There's dignity in what you write and in the way you say it.

I hope for the best too My Friend. But its true that I am really afraid thinking about it. We have to wait and see what fate had in store for me... :) Thanks for the challenge though... :)
