Eden Revisited 2. Killian Kendall Expanded Universe

My learned fellow reader @drsawzall mentioned the delightful Uncle Charlie in his comment. An octogenarian gay man (Uncle Charlie that is, not @drsawzall) with a heart of gold and a wealth of lifetime experiences, provides comfort and joy to the budding gay man in Adam Connelly.

The first two chapters of this story are harrowing as Adam's then wife, the despicable Eve, wreaks havoc on his life. Uncle Charlie is his saviour, a man who offers so much and asks very little in return.

A superb addition to the Killian Kendall series of stories. A warning to readers with high blood pressure, Eve's behaviour is bound to enrage so exercise caution.

This standalone vignette is truly a well written companion to the first of the Killian Kendal mystery series. Well written and paced and it made me fall in love with Uncle Charlie!!!

To miss Eden Revisited would be denying oneself a beautifully written passionate story of a journey to one's true self. Adam's road is arduous with devastating obstacles and heartbreak to finding acceptance. Along his path we meet compassionate individuals who become his family of choice with two especially kind and loving men. First, Bryant an attraction turned true friend and then Uncle Charlie who became a father figure, confidant, and support Adam never dreamed possible.

A tissue warning would be wise beforehand.
