Pushing the Limit -Book 2 - 17. Chapter 17

Ok folks, we're heading into the home stretch, only 3 more chapters after today.
Enjoy!

October flew by faster than any of them realized. David had been gone for three days the first of the month helping Greg to nail down the bid in Houston. Now it was Halloween and once again TC found himself at David’s house, only this year they were joined by Sinclair, who had managed to retain ownership of his dragon costume. Lyssa and Morgan were currently completing his transformation into the mythical creature. TC helped David set up some chairs and the small table to put the candy on. They waved at the neighbors around them who were doing the same.

Morgan had settled into the spare room at Renee and Mike’s house, her parents had readily agreed when Renee had called them to make arrangements. TC, David and Sinclair had all sat down with Morgan a couple of weeks ago to discuss her situation. They had come to an agreement regarding living arrangements for Morgan when she turned eighteen. David would be moving into TC’s house within the next couple of weeks, as would Sinclair. That would give David about a month to take care of some things that he had been meaning to get to. He was going to repaint the master bedroom, hallway and living room. The rest of the house was fine. Morgan and Lyssa had volunteered to help and David was letting them pick out the colors, within reason, of course. Owen would be recruited to do some labor and help with the painting when they started.

After the kids graduated in May, they would be required to pay a nominal amount of rent and contribute to the utility bills as well. Lyssa would be working at the farm again this summer and then she was planning on getting a part time job to cover her part of the bills once her summer job was over. David had told both girls that if they both managed all A’s and B’s, then he would give them a month free at the end of each semester. If either of them dropped out of school then they would need to get a full time job and their portion of the rent would increase substantially. David hadn’t decided how much, but he knew that if he put his house out into the current rental market he could easily get fair market value rent. For the time being he just wanted both girls to concentrate on their education, while at the same time learning financial responsibility for living out on their own when the time came.

He and TC had just settled into their camp chairs when the excited chatter of Lyssa and Morgan could be heard from in the house. Lyssa came and stood in front of them and announced “Gentlemen! May I introduce Sinclair, the Mighty Blue Dragon, ta-dah!!!”

Sinclair stepped out and sauntered into the driveway, tail swishing seductively behind him, teasing his Sirs. David and TC both chuckled. Lyssa and Morgan both beamed at their creation. Instead of a solid blue face, like he had in the play, the girls had used several shades of blue to create a mosaic-like look. They had outlined his eyes with black kohl and silver eyeliner to make them stand out. His white teeth flashed as he smiled at David and TC.

The girls had also gone with the medieval/dragon theme. Both were dressed as princesses, Lyssa sporting a plastic silvery tiara and Morgan went all-out with one of those pointed, cone-like hats with the gauzy veil trailing down her back. They each had on a princess dress in pink, Lyssa’s was a darker shade. Lyssa snickered as she told her dad “You and TC need to go get changed. We left your costumes in your room.”

This was news to both the guys. David merely rolled his eyes as TC held out his hand and pulled him up from the chair. “This oughta be good.” David muttered as he let TC lead him back into the house.

As soon as they entered the bedroom, laughter burst forth from each of them. There on the bed were the two costumes. Immediately, they knew that the girls must have roped Sinclair into aiding and abetting their little scheme, as both the costumes were obviously rentals. The first costume was a medieval knight. The armor was actually made out of plastic, but it was well constructed, right down to the shortened version of the lance. This one was only about six feet long, roughly half the length of the real thing. The plume on top of the knight’s helmet was garnet and gold, just a subtle nod to their alma mater.

The second costume was of course, the knight’s horse. A white, spandex bodysuit, complete with flowing white tail and foot and hand coverings shaped like hooves were accompanied by a well detailed horse’s head piece, complete with a long, flowing mane and garnet and gold bridle. A fake saddle, which was to be belted over the suit rounded out the costume.

TC picked up the knight’s costume and they could tell just by looking that it was too long for David. TC snickered as he quipped “Why do I think Sinclair was thinking along the lines of you being the one who likes to be ridden and that’s why you get the horse costume?”

David grabbed the knight helmet and slid it over TC’s head, effectively quieting him down and retorted “Because he’s right.” He chuckled at TC’s muffled laughter. They both good-naturedly changed into the costumes. David was really glad he had kept to healthy eating. The spandex didn’t hide much, so he grabbed a pair of white gym shorts to wear. He didn’t want to scare any kids or get arrested for indecent exposure. He then belted the saddle around his waist.

TC grabbed David’s bridle playfully, gently pulling his head back and kissed his neck, the only part of the man that his lips could reach, then he gave a quick smack to David’s ass and said “Giddyup!”

Still chuckling they made their way back outside, luckily both head pieces had adequate eye holes so they could see pretty well. The sun had set, but it was still light out and the street was soon filled with little kids in all sorts of costumes. Everyone, kids and adults alike were captivated by Sinclair’s dragon costume. One little boy about five or six, dressed in an Ironman costume, seemed scared when he saw the blue-hued creature. Sinclair, with a newfound sense of patience, approached him slowly, not speaking. Lyssa stayed by his side, pretending to be the dragon’s keeper and by promising not to let any harm come to the little guy, asked him if he wanted to pet the dragon. Shyly, he nodded and Sinclair stayed still as the boy ran his fingers softly over the scale plates along the back of his costume. Overcoming his fear, the miniature Ironman wrapped his arms around Sinclair’s neck for a dragon hug. He ran back to his mom with a huge grin on his face.

Lyssa leaned into Sinclair and whispered “You are the best dragon ever!”

Owen and his girlfriend Madison showed up shortly after and both had dressed as medieval peasants, which completed the group. The next two hours flew by, the steady stream of trick-or-treaters finally trickling off by eight-thirty. David couldn’t remember a Halloween that had been as much fun as this one. It only took them a few minutes to get everything put away and David let the kids split the leftover candy.

No one had to get up early the next day as it was Saturday. They had lucked out because Sinclair’s school had a bye week, so there had been no game. The kids changed into their suits and jumped into the pool. Sinclair headed for the shower to wash off the blue makeup with TC and David hot on his heels. They wanted a little ‘fun’ time of their own while the kids were busy in the pool.

Forty-five minutes later, three satisfied men joined the kids in the pool, the chlorine ensuring that any residual blue was bleached away. An hour after that David jumped out to grab his phone and ordered several pizzas for the gang that had just spent ten minutes whining that they were all starving.

As they sat at the patio table enjoying the pizza, TC couldn’t help but notice how happy Morgan looked. “So Morgan, have you settled into Renee and Mike’s house OK?”

Morgan swiped at the corner of her mouth with a napkin and replied “Yes, it’s been really good. They’re both great people. I feel comfortable there. It’s been a while since I haven’t been on edge all the time.”

TC could hear the relief in her voice and couldn’t help but ask “Have you spoken to any type of counselor at all Morgan?”

Morgan’s cheeks flushed and she quietly answered “No, my parents wouldn’t let me.”

TC sighed, knowing that she was still covered under her parent’s insurance and they had already told her that they were dropping her after the end of the year. “Morgan, I looked into options for you for insurance and the college offers a really good plan for students that I’d like you to enroll in. I don’t want you to worry about the cost either. I’ll take care of it for you, it’s not that expensive. I’d feel better knowing you will have coverage.”

Morgan’s eyes misted over and she barely managed to whisper “Thank you TC.”

“You’re welcome Morgan. In the meantime, would you like to talk to someone? On a professional level? You’ve had to deal with a lot and I know if I was in your shoes I’d want someone to help me figure things out.” TC stated.

“I would, but I’m afraid that my parents won’t approve it under their insurance and I can’t afford it on my own.” Morgan replied.

TC shook his head, still angry about how Morgan’s parents were treating her. “Morgan, I have an excellent therapist that I work with. Would it be OK with you if I asked him to recommend someone who works with kids your age and the issues that you’re dealing with? I really would like it if you could talk with someone who can help you. I don’t want you to worry about the cost either. It’s a small price for me to pay to be reassured that you’re getting some help. I’d really like to do this for you.”

Morgan gave TC a bright smile, looking as if a weight was lifted off her shoulders and she gasped “Really? You’d do that for me?”

TC smiled at her and replied “Yes, Morgan. I would do that for you.”

Morgan stood up and hugged TC, her gratitude apparent in the tears that threatened to spill over.

David couldn’t help but feel proud of how TC sincerely wanted what was best for Morgan. She was a sweet kid and they all knew that the road ahead of her was probably going to be hard. Transdgender teenagers were at higher risk for anxiety and depression, both of which contributed to a higher rate of suicide within their demographic. They all wanted to see her succeed and be happy.

By eleven-thirty they were all tired and Owen and Madison changed back into street clothes so Owen could take his girlfriend home. They said good-night to everyone, Owen was going back to Renee’s house as it was closer to Madison’s. Lyssa and Morgan helped pick up the pool toys and towels before heading to bed.

David, TC and Sinclair stayed on the lanai for a while, enjoying the sounds of the night. After Sinclair yawned for the third time, triggering both David and TC to do the same, they too slipped inside, David locking up before trailing the other two to his bedroom. He stripped down and scooted up behind Sinclair who was already snuggled up to TC and it wasn’t long before they were all fast asleep.

The next day TC and Sinclair helped David sort out his house. He weeded out his closets, getting rid of anything that didn’t fit him anymore, which turned out to be a lot due to the weight he had lost and kept off. Looking at his walk in closet after packing up all the clothes that were to be donated, it looked pretty sparse. He had been wearing mostly gym shorts and tank tops or t-shirts at home and for work he had bought four pairs of pants and five or six pairs of nice shorts and usually paired them with a nice polo shirt, all which were a little large on him. It looked like a shopping trip was needed.

Once the clothes were situated, David looked through the rest of his things and decided to leave the wall hangings and decorations there. If Morgan and Lyssa wanted to change them, then they could take whatever they wanted down and bring it to the donation center. He did take most of the pictures of the kids throughout the years. TC had already told him he could put them up at his house, or rather, soon to be ‘their’ house.

When he realized that most everything that he wanted to bring to TC’s could be taken over in one trip, David made the decision to do it that day and make the change permanent. When he told TC and Sinclair, TC looked ecstatic and Sinclair flashed a happy smile.

Sinclair’s phone buzzed with an incoming text and seeing that TC and David were preoccupied he opened it up. Reading over it quickly, Sinclair got a huge smile on his face. He knew he couldn’t hold this news in and he interrupted the guys. “Excuse me Sirs.” he said, rather loudly for him.

David looked at TC and TC answered “Yes Sin?”

“I just got a text from a friend who has been looking for a place to live after breaking up with his girlfriend. I told him that I was moving soon and he should put in an application for the apartment. Well, he did and it was approved. He wants to know how soon he can move in.”

David and TC both got broad grins. TC suggested “How about we move your stuff out tomorrow and he can move in as soon as the leasing office will allow it?”

Sin smiled brightly. His friend wanted the apartment furnished and was going to buy the furniture from him. Other than a few personal items and his clothes and toiletries, it shouldn’t take them too long to get him packed up.

David watched as Sinclair’s thumbs flew over the keypad of his phone. Damn, even doing something as ordinary as texting he was sexier than hell.

Sinclair grinned as he read the answering text. “All set!” he declared.

David and TC grinned back.

By the time Sunday night rolled around all three guys were tired and totally sick of the scent of cardboard boxes. After a long, steamy shower, in more ways than one, they fell into bed exhausted and completely sated.

The next couple of weeks had the new housemates figuring out how best to live together. In any relationship there is always some sort of compromise and their three-way configurement was no different. All of them were used to being on their own and it took several days of finagling to figure out how to best share closet space, bathroom time and all of those little habits that everyone gets accustomed to.

David and TC discovered that Sinclair hated anything coconut scented and they ended up getting rid of a bottle of body wash and four candles that TC had tucked away. TC and Sinclair already knew that David was not a morning person, but they didn’t realize the extent of it until they dealt with it on a daily basis. Most mornings they would leave him alone until he had a mug of coffee in hand, but on a few occasions, TC had instructed Sin to go down on their grumpy lover and wake him up with a blow job. David wasn’t quite so bad on those mornings.

TC asked David if he wanted to invite Renee and her family for Thanksgiving and as soon as the invitation was issued, it was accepted. Renee knew better than to pass up the offer to have someone else handle the huge dinner. They had also asked Sinclair if he wanted to invite his mother. When Sinclair had hesitated, David and TC sat down with him to discuss why he was hesitant. They knew that Sinclair didn’t have a great relationship with his mom, but they also knew that he kept in contact with her on a fairly regular basis.

David sat Sin down on the couch next to him and said “So tell me why you don’t want to ask your mom to come here for Thanksgiving? Are you trying to hide us from her?” he asked.

Sin’s eyes widened. “Oh, no! I’m not hiding anything from her. I’ve actually already told her we were all dating. She seems to be OK with it. I only talk to her a couple of times a month. I told her I would be moving, but I haven’t had a chance to tell her that it's already happened. No, it’s just that my mom still hasn’t left my father and I’m worried that when he finds out he’ll go ballistic at her. I don’t think he’d physically hurt her, but he can be really cruel verbally. I used to have major anxiety issues because of him. I had panic attacks pretty frequently. Gymnastics at the elite level is major stress to begin with and none of my coaches wanted me medicated because of the drug testing that happens. A lot of times just coping was incredibly difficult.”

TC ran his fingers along the back of Sin’s neck, gripping firmly, but not tight, gauging the tenseness that had made its presence felt. “When was the last time you had a panic attack Sin?” he inquired.

Sin thought for a moment and answered “Not since I left that asshole who thought he knew how to be a Dom. The first two or three months after we broke up I would have an attack whenever I thought too much about being out on my own.”

“How did you handle those?” David wanted to know.

“I just rode them out. I’d usually freak out when I was by myself. Most of the time when I finally calmed down I’d be huddled on the floor of my closet or in the bathroom.”

TC pulled Sinclair close, giving him both physical and moral support. David leaned into both of them. “Well, I don’t think you have to worry about that with us here. So did your mother give you any insight as to why she’s still with your father?”

“She said she was looking for a new place to live. She’s told him that she’s leaving, and from what she told me, he was pretty indifferent about it. I think she’s just scared to be out on her own and to finally be independent. My parents never had a healthy relationship to begin with.” Sinclair commented.

“All the more reason to invite her. Maybe if she saw how Renee and Mike are together she will realize that there’s more to life out there. It might be good for her.” David said.

“I never thought about it that way. Thank you Sir. I’ll call her later and invite her. I can’t promise anything, but I’ll do my best to get her to come.” Sinclair declared.

“Does she know that you are submissive Sin? That you’re in such a relationship all the time?” TC asked.

“Not exactly. I really don’t know how to even approach it with her.” Sin bit his bottom lip and worry lines creased his forehead.

“It’s OK Sin. If she accepts then we can ask her to come early and we can help explain it to her if you'd like.” TC offered.

“I’d like that Sir.” Sin replied.

Sin’s parents lived about an hour and a half away from Sarasota in central Florida. After Sinclair left for college his father had been offered a new position when his company expanded and opened up a new research facility. It was a position that he had been after for quite some time, so naturally he took it. His mother was able to transfer to the new area with her job, although she had to take a lower level management position for a couple of years until her old position became available in the area she was now in.

Sinclair called his mom the next day and after the longest conversation he had ever had with her, managed to get her to agree to come for Thanksgiving. He also made her promise to come early so she could get to know TC and David. He was really hoping that she would be OK with the relationship once she heard of its entirety. If she wasn’t OK with it, then he knew that it would probably spell the end of any type of relationship he could have with her.

Sinclair cooked up a storm the weekend before Thanksgiving. TC and David helped as much as he would let them. If there was one thing he had gotten really good at, and enjoyed doing, it was cooking and baking, and he rarely had the chance to show off his skills for a large group.

When David woke up on Thanksgiving morning, Sinclair was already out of bed. TC snored softly next to him, little rumbles on each exhale that made David smile. He stretched slowly, not wanting to disturb TC. They had been up late last night, David had turned Sinclair’s ass a gorgeous shade of deep pink after TC bound him to the spanking bench. That room was worth every penny they had spent on it.

Reluctantly, David slid out of bed, making a pit stop in the bathroom before joining Sinclair in the kitchen. Knowing that Sin didn’t want him messing with his food preparation, David merely pulled out a large coffee mug and poured himself a cup. As he turned, Sinclair was there handing him the creamer, but not before David pulled him in for a kiss.

“Thank you Sin. It smells good in here.” David told him.

“Mmmm, you’re welcome Sir. Would you like some French toast casserole?” Sin asked.

“You are deliberately trying to make us completely dependent on you for decent food aren’t you? You know damn well it’s my favorite. TC’s too. Of course I’d like some.” David teased.

David took his coffee to the table and sat down, inhaling deeply at the cinnaminny scent that assaulted his nose when Sinclair slid a plate of the heavenly concoction in front of him. Sin had used a loaf of crusty French bread, cut into cubes, mixed in chopped pecans before covering it with an egg mixture to which he had added a bit of Fireball to give it an extra cinnamon twist. He had mixed softened butter, flour and a little brown sugar to create a crumbly topping that was sprinkled on top before baking it in the oven. The result was fantastic, especially when served with warm, real maple syrup.

The aroma must have woken TC because he too had followed the delicious scent to the kitchen. Morning greetings were exchanged and soon all three men were enjoying the special breakfast. TC and David both had seconds, effectively squashing any chance at leftovers.

After cleaning up, David and TC left Sinclair in the kitchen to do whatever he needed to do to get the dinner preparations underway. They put the leaves in the table, expanding the seating from six to ten. Owen had invited Madison as her parents never made a big deal over the holiday as they didn’t have any family in the area. David had extended the invitation to Madison’s parents as well, but they had declined.

Sinclair had planned for dinner to be ready at five o’clock and David had told Renee to show up around four so they could relax and have a drink before dinner. Sinclair had already fixed a cheese and cracker tray and some fruit.

When David looked at the time he realized that Sinclair’s mom would be there soon so he came up behind the smaller man as he washed out a pan at the sink and wrapped his arms around the trim waist. Planting a kiss on the back of his neck, he nipped at the bump of his spine and reminded him, “Your mom will be here soon Sin, why don’t you take a quick shower. I’ll finish up these dishes.”

“How about we help you finish the dishes and then we can all take a shower together.” TC said as he crossed the living room, his voice deepening with his suggestion. He tossed a drying towel to David.

David and TC dried the last of the pots and pans while Sin hurried to the master bathroom to start the water going. When David stepped into the bathroom he stopped short, eyes widening, and a huge grin crossing his face. Sin was already in the shower, facing the far wall with his hands flat against it. His feet were spread apart and his back arched so that his ass was prominently displayed. TC looked over David’s shoulder and within thirty seconds both men were naked and running their hands all over the smooth, hard body so well presented for them.

They made the most of their limited time. Soapy lather eased the way for David to slide into Sin and TC made a sandwich out of David, groaning as the tightness of David’s ass clenched him like a vice. They were all horny and quickly found a rhythm that worked for them. Sinclair let go first, silently, and not long after, TC, then David grunted and groaned as they each came. TC got them back on track and everyone got cleaned and rinsed off.

David couldn’t help but admire both TC and Sinclair as they got dressed. He knew he was the luckiest man to have both of these beautiful human beings in his life. Sinclair picked up the bathroom and tossed the towels in the laundry and made sure there was no water on the floor.

TC was looking everything over, making sure they hadn’t forgotten anything when the doorbell rang. Sinclair practically came running down the hallway and stopped short at the look TC gave him. David decided to answer the door while TC gave Sinclair a moment to gather his wits.

Sinclair’s mom was not anything like David had pictured. She was average height, just slightly shorter than Sinclair. She carried a few extra pounds like many women her age, but she knew how to dress so that it was flattering. Her outfit was casual, not overstated, black pants that fit properly and had a slimming effect and a lilac button up shirt. Her bare feet were encased in a pair of cute sandals, typical of what many Floridians wore everyday.

“Mrs. Holt, please come in. David said as he stepped back from the threshold. “I’m David Callaghan.”

Sinclair’s mom stepped in and smiled. Seeing Sinclair with TC she looked their way.

TC added “Welcome to our home. I’m TC Panatopoulos.”

“Please, call me Claire. It’s lovely to meet you. Thank you for inviting me.” she replied.

TC gave Sin a subtle nudge and he went over to give his mom a hug and kiss. “Hi Mom, it’s good to have you here. I’ve missed you.”

“I’ve missed you too.” she answered.

“Can I get you anything Mom? Water? Coffee?” Sinclair inquired. When she shook her head, Sinclair led her over to the living room and had her sit on one of the overstuffed chairs. He waited for TC and David to sit on the couch and then sat himself down between them. David saw TC place his hand on Sin’s knee, effectively stopping him from bouncing it nervously. He could also see that Claire was trying not to run her fingers together, showing her own nervousness.

David tried to set her mind at ease. He asked Sin’s mom about her job and within a few minutes she seemed to relax a little, but there was still an undercurrent of uncomfortableness as she chattered about inconsequential things. It was Sinclair who finally said something as neither David nor TC wanted to upset the woman.

“Mom, please stop. Just go ahead and ask whatever it is you want to know. I told you that I was in a serious relationship with TC and David and I know you must have questions.” he said.

Claire blushed and David knew immediately where Sin got it from. Mustering her courage she asked “How exactly does all this work? I’m not sure I understand how you can be with two people.”

TC took over and explained that their relationship was just as deep and meaningful as any other. He emphasized the importance of communication. When he explained the D/s side, he left out the sexual aspect details, but informed her that it was his priority to take care of Sin and guide him, protect him and to reassure Sinclair that he could depend on him, and David as well. He assured her that they were capable of loving each other and open communication effectively prevented jealousy. Negative thoughts or feelings could be discussed safely and worked out.

David glanced at Sin, his worry lines creasing his forehead. When TC finished speaking they gave Claire a moment to let everything sink in.

“I’m not sure I’ll get used to this very quickly, but I suppose over time it will seem less, um, unconventional, I guess? Sinclair, I know I haven’t been a great mother. I let my indifference toward your father adversely roll over to my relationship with you. For so many years I felt like I was stuck. You had your gymnastics to focus on and you kept your distance as you got older. I don’t blame you, I blame myself. I should have made more of an effort to be involved in your life. By the time you got hurt I just didn’t know how to fix it. Your father and I haven’t been more than casual acquaintances for many years. I never really knew him. The man I knew way back when is someone completely different. He had a plan for his life and it didn’t include a wife or child. I think he’s allowed bitterness to cloud his judgement.” she said sadly.

“I’m sorry for all of the hurt I caused you. I’ve finally taken the first steps toward getting my life back on track. A territory manager position opened up and I interviewed for it and got the job. I’ll be overseeing all of Florida and I’ll also be based out of the head office in Bradenton. I have an appointment with a lawyer next week to start divorce proceedings and I’m also looking at condos in Lakewood Ranch. I’d like to try to repair our relationship if you’d let me.” Claire said as she looked at Sinclair.

Sinclair smiled and replied “There’s nothing to fix Mom, the past has gone by and is over. We can move forward and I’m so happy that you’re moving on. You really needed to do this for your own well being.”

Sin got up and went over and pulled his mom up for a hug. David looked at TC and winked. Claire may need some time to process the whole three way relationship her son was in, but at least she was willing to give it a try. That was what mattered the most.

I know there was a lot going onnin this chapter, but it was necessary from a writing perspective. With only a few more chapters to go I had to zip through a bit of stuff.
Now, I wonder what kind of monkey wrench I can throw into things? 🤣
As always, I'd love to hear your thoughts!

I really like this chapter, and have enjoyed the last several chapters.  When a relationship works it tends to do so without a lot of drama, whether internal or external.  You’ve been able to show TC, David, and Sin steadily progressing as a united, functioning, loving, committed relationship.  Whether family and friends all understand, they have been respectful.  I think it’s because appropriate boundaries are in place.  It feels like our guys are in this together and can handle whatever life has in store for them.

Awesome chapter. The guys have settled into living together. I loved the Halloween costumes. Thanksgiving has given Sin a chance to sort things with his mum. What damage have you got planned for our guys.

Thanks chris!

There was no other option for the costumes....I just had to go with it!

Sin needed to clear the air with his mom.

Damage? What damage? I don't  damage my characters....I maim them, torture them, amputate their limbs, but damage? Nah!🤣🤣

French toast casserole?!?!  That sounds sinfully delicious.

Morgan’s parents or Sinclair’s dad are the only possible monkey wrenches I can see but knowing you, there can very well be unseen forces at work. 🤔
Just want to remind you that our boys have been through a lot (David & TC’s individual emotional breakdowns and their slow paths to recovery, TC’s near death and almost losing Lyssa)-can I hope for kindness in your “twist”?  😮

French toast casserole IS sinfully delicious.

Yes, our boys have been through a lot. With only two chapters to go, I guess I really can't do too much damage.

Or can I?😈🤔🤭
