Oh, how infinitely sad... 

The song you sing is infinitely sad, and far too familiar. You sing it beautifully and evocatively, full of life and imagery. But it is sad enough for tears. 

It's never easy... but it's inescapable. I think you said goodbye in a beautiful way, moggy, with this.

thanks Parker, no matter how sad at the leaving, i'm grateful for the memories.

thanks Gary. no matter how much we long to keep loved ones here, we have to release them from their pain, letting them fly.

I actually wavered between reactions for this one, moggy. Yes, it is very sad, but there is also a lot of love in it too. 

I settled on a sad, but loving goodbye

thanks Caz. i understand that issues. i've had that problem before too. through the years, when i've lost someone, i try to keep fresh in my mind, this: We are better for knowing you.  Being held within the hearts you leave behind, is to live forever.
