This is a marvelous premise for a follow-up story.  A young male escort goes to the ballet with an older gentleman, and shortly after they meet, the older gentleman wants to move someplace where they can have a private conversation.  During their discussion, he discloses that he once had a wife who has since died, and after a rather rude interruption from another female the older gentleman knows, he comes back to the escort and continues the conversation.  They are interrupted again, but this time by the performance that is ready to start, but what were they about to discuss.  Read this intriguing short story to find out.
