Spice Rack - 19. Satiation

Summer is coming to an end. I found this neglected bottle of spice and just had to open it before the equinox.

Breathless,

flushed, euphoric,

chests heaving, pulses race,

all thought dispersed like mist before

the sun;

no words:

every mindless outcry silenced

in all-consuming fire;

and love, panting,

remains.

If this agreed with you, or if you found the taste disagreeable, please feel free to tell me so. I would be glad of your comment.

This offering is seasoned perfectly, Chef.  No disagreeable taste here ;)  I especially liked "all thought dispersed like mist before the sun" . :)

How to describe the taste of a delicious, unforgettable moment? That instant in time before the brain kicks in with its need to edit, comment or chatter?  It is a delectable second or two. Thanks for reading and for your comment.

With single change of word, this delectable delight will become lamentable dejection...

A sensational offering as always.

Oh, my...how you saw that...amazing. Your eye and poetic sense is as keen as ever. Perhaps I should have followed this path: it is certainly dramatic and unlooked for.  Thank you so much for this insight.
