Prince Caspian....the cure for insomnia

(long sigh).......I feel like a total jerk right now because I keep dissing Taylors play. My bf has been rehearsing for his play for months, and tonight they finally did it, and I have to say (yawn)...lol.....sorry. I feel so bad for my boo right now because even he knew it was boring. Anyway, he did a great job, and I give him a lot of credit for getting up in front of 600 people (or more) and remembering all of his lines and doing his part so well.....I think it woulda been better if some of the other people in the play woulda did a better job with thier parts...a lot of them seemed like they were just saying thier lines, not acting them out, but Taylor and a few others did a really good job. I felt really sorry for him though, because thier were some people up there that you could totally tell didn't want to be there, and it must have made him feel nervous. After the play, he told me that he was embarrassed by how they acted disinterested.....here's hoping that the ones who ruined it for the ones who worked so hard to do a good job get F's and the ones like my baby, who actually tried to put on a good play, get A's :)

Nick :)

BTW....Chapter 36 of my story is posted

Nick-

The closest thing I can relate to this is being a good player on a bad team. There is some satisfaction in the other team running away from your side but you can't do everthing. When they do run your way you can make them wish they hadn't. :2hands:

I don't have any experience with the stage. If it wasn't done with some kind of ball at my HS, it simply wasn't done.

Yeah it is too bad when there are those that act that way. It makes it hard on those that try there best.

Great Job T!!! :2thumbs:

I wish I could have been there to see it.

Hey Nick,

I loved chapter 36, it seems like it must have been a major turning point in your family dynamic. Great chapter!

I'm sorry the play didn't go that well, but at least Taylor did well, and as long as he had a good time :) .

Anyway have a great day and take care,

Hey Nick

It's all about personal performance. As long as Taylor knows that he did his best that's all that maters. Give him a big hug  and tell him he perfect. :)
