This month's feature is Mann Rambling's epic novel, So Little Magic Let. Not only did he write a story nominated for 2013's Best Hero/Villain in the Reader's Choice Awards here on GA, he made his own graphic and signature banner for this month's event. I loved this story.  Mann takes us on one hell of a roller coaster ride, but it's well worth it.  I highly recommend this story! :D And I love the banner.  Very cool!

I think I'll have to read it again. I can recall being somewhat annoyed at Shawn for being a wuss, but perhaps I'll like him better the second time round. :)

I've already read it twice :)  . That was back when I had lots of time for reading :(  . It's a toss up between this one and Luxorian Fugitive as to which is my favorite 'Mann' story... oh wait... then there's....

I think I'll have to read it again. I can recall being somewhat annoyed at Shawn for being a wuss, but perhaps I'll like him better the second time round. :)

 

I dunno.  I think Shawn was a little too out of his element to have as much agency.  Going from being the BIG guy to just an insignificant nothing will make anyone become scared and passive.

Yeah, I'm reading it again, and I have to agree Shawn is actually doing quite well so far. I just got past the whore's visit. :facepalm:

OK, now I remember why I got pissed off with Shawn. it wasn't because he was a wuss. :*)

The epic finale of the story made up for his earlier mistake. :yes:
