Hello and welcome to another attempt to get you to write and share your prompt stories. Prompts are usually short tales. However, over the years a prompt has inspired an author and multi chapter stories or novels have happened. They have been used as the start of chapters and as a way to reintroduce old characters into new settings. In plain English, prompts are there to inspire you to think or write in new ways. Don't be afraid to try one. Here are two new prompts to get you writing.

Prompt 790 - Creative

Tag - List of words

Use the following words in a story - a pumpkin, an apple orchard, a bottle of wine, a picnic basket, and a horse.

Prompt 791 - Creative

Tag - The Curse

You pissed of the old lady when she asked you to help load her overloaded grocery cart into her car. Her eyes narrowed as you politely refused due to the fact you were already late for work. You realize that stopping to pick up boxes of tea and coffee would have been much easier last night when you had more time. As you turned to go to your car you crashed into a very handsome young man, knocking him to the floor. Feeling clumsy you help him up as the old lady screams at you. "Don't help me, knock my grandson down. You're a foul, lazy, and stupid young man. I curse you!" There is a crash of lightning and your whole world changes. Were you really cursed or what happened?

So hopefully we will have some prompt stories to share next week. Until then, remember to read, write, review, and like. Be safe.

Wayne, your prompts inspired me to write the first of the Delicious stories (there are now eleven), The Promise and 16 or so other short prompt response pieces. They work. I find them very useful and fun to use.  I appreciate them and look forward to reading them every week!  Thank you!

I have 2 unfinished stories from prompts.

I've learned my lesson on posting unfinished material.  FTR took almost a year to finish lol

I have a ton of your prompts I'm working on. I just need to learn to cut them off, and not let them turn into novels.
