Prompt Us!

We always tell you what to do. Write a story, a poem using this or that. I thought we could do it the other way around this Friday. You tell us what to write. For example, @Valkyrie Write a story beginning with a Valkyrie, an Erinys, and an Oracle meet at a spa, or @Cole Matthews Please write another sonnet. (He will probably kill me for this.) So, good-bye if you don’t hear from me anymore.

If there is more than one prompt, we get to choose and the rest go into the guest prompt bank.

PT #53

Prompt us.

PT #54

It’s Pride month. Write a poem a story, whatever you want, and tell us what Pride means to you or to a fictitious character.

You have an itch, but you can't really put you finger on it to decide what is causing it. Is it a rash, is it a urge, is it you're missing something? How do you figure it out and satisfy it? Note: if you choose a sexual itch, I guess you could say it is a rash, an urge and missing it 0:)

@BrysonGood idea. A movie started in my mind and the beginnings of a story developed but then @astone2292 snatched it away..

Anyway, good prompt ideas are always welcome. :)

What have you done???

@Cole Matthews It was only an example, so that everyone understood what I meant.  I like Aaron's idea better too.

I have another prompt for everyone; again it could go in almost any genre (except historical, I guess).

"Dad, I promise... I would have been back already if the volcano hadn't erupted..."

I actually had this happen to me in 2010 when I had traveled from the US to the Netherlands to oversee a conference - the Eyjafjallajökull volcano in Iceland erupted and disrupted air travel for a week or so.  Oh, darn - I was STUCK in Amsterdam!

@Bryson Thank you for the prompts!  If we don't write a response to them this week, we'll add them to our guest prompt bank and feature them in the future.

No problem at all - just thinking of some of the things that have happened on my travels that might make good prompts for stories.
