Whose Line is it Anyway?

I just hit a 1000 day learning streak on the language app I'm using to learn German (it will be 1006 today), and came across a couple of sentences I thought were perfect for first line prompts.

PT Prompt #133 - First line

"What are you cooking, and why does it stink?"

PT Prompt #134 - First line

"Why is your underwear in the swimming pool?"

Please include the prompt number either in your story/chapter description or title to help readers who would like to search for specific prompts. Also, please remember that stories less than one thousand words must be posted as part of a collection

If you check the subgenre 'prompt' in your story tags, then people/readers can find everything here:

"Why is your underwear in the swimming pool?"

So THAT'S where I left it.

Now you have to comment here on how to say it in German, because I need to know.

When I read

PT Prompt #133 - First line

"What are you cooking, and why does it stink?"

"I'm cooking haggis, and it has a strong smell, but a good one."

I thought of a story I read many years ago, where a man was visiting some acquaintances next to a railroad station, and the wife of the couple was making haggis, and he thought it had a terrible smell.  However, he did not ask the lady cooking, but asked the daughter, "What is your mother cooking?" while making a face.

One can look up haggis, if not familiar with it, at dictionary dot com or in Wikipedia.

@Valkyrie, und warum lernst du Deutsch?

Ich möchte nach Europa reisen und glaube dass es nützlich sein könnte deutsch zu sprechen. (For non-German speakers - I want to travel to Europe and believe that it will be useful to speak German)
