Wow, it's July 1st already?! There's a time warp somewhere, I swear. Or some sort of spell on my life at times, perhaps from a book of Forbidden Knowledge? Or each day I pass through the front door and enter a rift through which I lose time due to... well, who knows? What isn't forbidden is reminding all my site author friends that they need to get their themed stories to me ASAP if they want to participate in this year's fun! Maybe I've already gotten yours? Hmmm... Maybe someone new has joined in, or someone who swears they just don't have time? Or someone on the site who never plays but decided to try for funsies because the third year's the charm? Do you think I have double digit submissions yet? You can't torture the names out of me, just the deadline again.

Suggest for Special Awards:

1 Author who tells the most lies in the chat Not sure of a suitable prize. Perhaps copying “I shall not tell lies” 100 times without copy and paste or AI. 

2 The reader who gets the lowest number correct. I’m in with a chance as I only got one right last year. Prize Read all stories by every author in the competition.

Cant wait to start reading with my detective skills newly sharpened.

It's always been due the 15th, BUT you did make me go check just in case I was passing along misinformation. Who, me?? Now, stories don't post that same day but the fun does begin soon after!

I tried three different stories but couldn't shoehorn in the "Forbidden" theme for some reason. I also had real trouble with the word limit. Not a bitch just acknowledging I'm not very good at short. 

My first entry is at 80K words, the second one just wasn't forbidden and the third was on par with the rest of my work, *blows raspberry*. So I won't be involved in any of the craziness. Unless something happens between now and the 15th, but I'm going on vacation and then the world cup. July is not a good month for this one *points at self* But I shall join in on the guessing.

There doesn’t have to be an extremely strong link to the topic. Even the illusion of something being forbidden would be enough. I promise not to guess it’s yours if you want me to review and/or edit it beforehand. I’ve had one or more cats peeing where they aren’t supposed to lately, that would be a perfect topic. Um, that story won’t be mine. Really!

Just remember, lying isn't one of my faults. Of which I have many. As of this moment, I have zero probability of entering this year's contest. I just don't have the time or idea. But I'll read all of yours happily.

It’s been so long since I’ve been in France and had their bottled water. I forgot Sin is with bubbles, Con is without. So, lying is with bubbles. Got it.
