Given CJ's computer problems I don't think we'll see a new chapter tonight. However I've still got the firewood stacked and ready to turn into a spit. I've got hard and soft drinks for everyone. All I need to do is make a quick run to the store for some ice cubes.

Should we use a wet or dry spice rub? I'm thinking wet cause CJ is probably a tough old goat!

 

Maybe he even needs to be marinaded for a few days to make him even softer.

 

I wonder if we'll need a big ole hammer and some plastic wrap to help tenderize him a bit?

 

What kind of sauce goes good with a grilled goat sandwich?

Don't know what would taste good on a goat, but I do like what we got for steak.

Most steak I've had that was rubbed used a dry rub.

 

I was thinking maybe we could puree The Goat along with some chickpeas and have goat dip on some kind of Mediterranean bread.

So, if the chapter is bad, you spitroast him on a BBQ and eat him, and if its good... you presumably still spitroast him, just in a way that doesn't involve BBQ's?

Not quite. If the chapter isn't to our satisfaction we cut him up into chunks while he's still alive, skewer the chunks, and then roast him. If the chapter is to our satisfaction we'll give him a merciful killing and then BBQ him. It's a lose/lose situation.
