Yeah, I agree with James. Marvel also had a gay couple, I mean explicitly, in the Young Avengers. Billy Kaplan, aka Wiccan, and Hulkling, aka Teddy Altman.

There are other gay and lesbian superheroes. That might be DC Comic's first lesbian one, though. But definitely not the first one.
