On Time's Heels

A new story, "On Time's Heels," by a new author can be found here in eFiction.

 

To paraphrase my review: the narrator's emotions came through clearly. The surprise at the end was, indeed, a surprise. The story arc was solid while leaving openings for some additional beats (for example, extending the leitmotif of the light bulb to the end of the story) as well as leaving an opening for continuing the story.

 

A very solid and nice first effort.

I agree... I particularly liked the vivid imagery of the lightbulb and the deeply emotive but solid style. Definately worth more
