I was bored one night and, after seeing what new stories were updated, figured, "aw, what the hell...I'll check this one out." Well, me likey!

 

I can't help but feel worried now though for Percy and Max - just as it was getting good for them, along comes the trashy twosome. BTW, I did see it coming that Max was Mr. Too-Close, like a roaring locomotive - as you so nicely put it.

The best story on GA? Oooooh Marky, you're such a tease! I have read some of the fabs on here and I'm just glad that they let me post my stuff beside such good authors. I'm just thrilled that they let me stick around and haven't kicked me out...yet

Would you get over it. I haven't had a chance to cast my vote yet but looked over the stories and characters nominated so far in the 2011 list of best work. Both this story and Love is in the cards has been nominated for best new story by an author. Plus you have two stories in the anthology catagory up as well. KC, people do enjoy your work so you should get use to the alcolades and prepare for your next awesome tale my talented friend.

I'm glad that people have taken to this story as well as Love/Cards and my anthology pieces. I'm still new and learning as I go, even with my mistakes, everyone here has been pretty forgiving and I can't wait to start posting my new story this spring.

KC, I was only joking about you posting chapters in the middle of the night! I've assumed you're American so depending on where you are you'd be at least six hours behind from where I am.

 

And really it was no bother at all waiting a few hours or even half a day before reading it, definitely worth the wait.
