Hee hee, no really...a BIG thank you, Talon, for your editing work on this one (and of course for making this thread ).

 

As well, BIG thanks to those of you who have read, reviewed, or even "liked" this story. I was really happy to write this, my first story here at GA. It was a little rough putting it together, but having a clear idea and sense of where I wanted to go with it kept me on track.

 

 

 

And for those of you who haven't read it yet (or for that matter, the anthology)...what are you waiting for?

I did pick who it was... but at the same time - i couldn't beleive there wasn't more jealousy involved!

Heh, I honestly didn't think of that. But then again...who knows, maybe he really was jealous and was damn good at hiding it.

My thinking is, he was having too much fun with his notes to be jealous. He may have been hurt some by what was happening, but he still pursued what he wanted.

I love the idea of the notes.

 

The hall lockers in the high school I went to don't have air vent slots in the doors, and there's a metal trim piece around the three outside edges, and the hinges are the kind that go all the way from the top to the bottom of the door. So there isn't any way to stuff a note inside someone's locker. They probably made them that way on purpose.

 

The gym lockers have air vent slots in the doors, but it would be tough to read a note in private the way the locker rooms are always crowded after PE classes. And the lockers are used each period on a first-come first-served basis.

 

I like stories where the best friend turns out to be gay. Happened to me, in real life, when I was in the 8th grade.
