Hey Bucket.  How has your day been?  I have been having some fun reading a lot about Australia in the book I am reading.  C James describes a lot of interesting places on the west coast.

When I first read Circumnavigation, I remember going to Google Maps and, using Street View, I'd explore places like Carnarvon. It was fun to see the very trees that Trevor kept walking into when he'd stare at Shane a little too long.

Are you sure those weren't the before Trevor pictures?   That has been a very good running joke in the story.  I have to admit that I am doing the same with Google Maps using the Street View.  I also use Google Images to see some of the sights mentioned.

Ooh, one of my favorite moments from the story is when Shane and Joel each exchanged their ways of teasing Trevor.  Shane accusing Trevor of sexual harassment and Joel calling Trevor a Cruel and Abusive Bastard!

My day went well. Dad picked my up to have lunch at grandma's (I came back with a good size slice of quiche and one of apple clafoutis ). After lunch we had a nice walk by the beach. The weather was gorgeous, a bright sun, 5°C and some wind but the sun made it all warmer. There was a lot of people as some parts of the country are still in holidays and this weekend was also the Enduropale which is a big motorcycle race on the beach a few kilometers up north.
