I could use a little help

Hey,

With my sci-fi and with my thrillers, I have friends of mine that are willing to help and read. They're Straight allies and awesome. There was a rather entertaining discussion last Friday about gay marriage being no different from their own marriages... as I said they are awesome.

However the new story I am writing is not something I want to put them through. It's a more romance focused fantasy thing... and it feels weird asking them for feedback on something so totally out of their wheelhouses. Like me trying to describe how to cook... I mean I *could* but neither of us is going to have a fun time eating whatever comes out of the oven after that...

So yeah, I need someone to act as a beta reader, give me feedback and slap me if I am being stupid. It's an invaluable part of writing a book, The Falcon Banner wouldn't be half as interesting if Martin hadn't beaten some sense into me with a keyboard. 

I miss Martin's wisdom.

Anyway, let me know if any of you are willing to taste my cooking and tell me if it is too salty. (seriously, don't eat my cooking... it's bad)
