Posting stories?

I am no tech guy for sure, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to post a story on this site? Where do you actually post the story at, not just titles, tags, descriptions, etc. That part is all pretty clear. I just can't find where the actual story is posted?

Hello! If I’m understanding your question correctly, here’s what you need to do:

Click on the Stories link at the top of the page, then open the dropdown menu labeled Add Story. From that menu, select Add Story.

Please don't feel bad, I've posted seven stories on this site, and today, when I wanted to post a new one, I had completely forgotten myself. I had to go to the help section, lots of great info inside with easy to read instructions that could save you pulling out your hair. I think they have an answer to just about any question you might have. Highly detailed even someone as tech savy as I'm not could understand. 

Can't wait to check out your story either.

Thanks for all the input. I have no problem getting to all the areas people have been pointing out. I just can't seem to figure out where to actually post the text of the story? I have read the posting instructions a hundred times and still can't figure out where to actually post the story? I know it will be something stupid, and I will feel like an idiot!

Ah, I see. When you reach the four steps for adding your story, go through each step. Don’t select Save Story until you’ve completed the fourth step and selected your tags. Once you hit Save Story, a pop-up will appear allowing you to add the text to your story.

Now that makes sense! Thanks! I may have missed some steps inadvertently. It is still pretty complex!

What does it mean when the story is in green and shows no other details, word counts, views, etc. Is it being reviewed? Boy, this is hard! I am so use to the ease of Literotica!

Yes, that means it’s currently in the moderation queue. @Cia handles story approvals and should have it reviewed within 24 hours. If more than 24 hours pass, you can send her a message.
