A Learning Experience

Well, Chapter 5 of 'The Druid' has definately been a learning experience and I want to thank you all for it. I came here to learn, and even though I thrive at fighting the current, it's happening. Some of your words are sinking in to my thick skull and I think my stories are better for it.

 

So, before I chap too many butts, and have to break out a new tin of Carmax to medicate my over worked lips, Thank you!

I hate to leave thanks not given. As I said.. it's the reason I came here. Lots of people pointed the way here. I'm glad I listened. I hope future writers will stop by and get at least half as much as what I have in the last couple of months.

I do not want nor merit a thank you. I'm a visitor here and grateful for a place to land. Thank you for the sediment none the less.

 

I feel almost brow beat between my editor and the comments from the 'sneek peak' I posted from chapter 5 of 'The Druid'. I think... I've finally found a compromise I can live with and that tells the story the best.

 

All in all... yes... I cheated. It will be out within the next few hours. I know I haven't been writing long. 3 1/2 months now? But this chapter felt like giving birth to a bus. Next time... I'm going to insist on lube, an epideral, and the removal of the side mirrors.

 

I hope you like the end product.
