I know that all the fan fiction were removed from the site... but why was Vamprie Jared removed too?? As far as i know, it is an original story, and doesn't fall under fan fiction...

I agree that it is a wonderful story. I understand that it may not fit here anymore due to content but it would be nice if it showed up somewhere else where it would be more acceptable. If not, I'm just glad I had the pleasure of reading it before it was removed.

 

Does anyone have any recommendations for similar stories? I've read Comicality's "Gone From Daylight" and "Savage Moon" but haven't found any other stories of the same genre that appealed to me.

Unfortunately the readers have been waiting for a number of years for the author to resurface and finish the tale.

I loved Vampire Jared, and I was quite upset when it dissapeared. If you want to upload it somewhere and finish it, please feel free to join the new site called World of Slash. I help run it, so I can guarantee that you will be welcome.

 

It's for all Slash genres, with Origional stories and fan fiction stories. I would love to see this back up again. The site is very new, so it doesn't have tons of people yet, but it has promise of more.

Too darn bad...I liked Vampire Jarred. Of course, I'm 25 and had no trouble reading Stephen King or John Saul at the tender age of 10. That said, I wanna see it come back someplace!

eh, i got to read the two first chapters in the old "sneak peeks" posts and am really sad that i can't read the rest of it :<

why was it taken down, anyway? i admit that it was far from your usual vampire-fairy tale - with vampires portrayed as pained souls and all the jazz (not that i have sth against those stories). dan's approach was really refreshing and i enjoyed it immersly. but there was nothing that would make it mind-corrupting... or am i already too corrupted to notice? O_o

i guess i can only hope for the story to be reposted one day so i can see it in its full glory :]
