I just read LDI, chapter 8, and it's my favorite so far.

 

I'm not going to say more, since Dan just posted it and I want to give everyone a chance to read it, but things are working out better than I'd expected.

 

I can't wait for the next one!

total agreement. also, i really liked the ending. it wasn't anything fancy, but i somehow got a little choked up there.

Once again, I find it very interesting how Dan can distinguish the feelings of an old man (Brian) and of a young lad (Davey) through the different writing styles.

It seems that things are really working out better than expected. Or is it an hidden cliffhanger (?)
