  1. I had no clue you had a Birthday today!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! I wish I could send you that guy I've talked with you about for a birthday present... Anyway I hope you enjoy a fantastic Birthday!
  2. Hope you enjoy a great Birthday!!
  3. I really love the australian accent. It's the best from those listed. Unlike a lot of people I really dislike the french accent. It just doesn't sit well with me. I'd love to know if I have an accent, but since I'm unable to point one out I guess my accent would be the spanish. Of all those listed it's the language that mostly resembles my own.
  4. Have a great Birthday Meeko
  5. Oh my!!!
  6. Hi everybody. This is the first time I'm starting a topic so I hope I do this right. I've also checked the forums and I don't believe this topic has been discussed before, but I may have overlooked it. If I did I apologize for the inconvenience. I swim on a regular basis and therefore spend some time in the men's locker room. I've noticed guys in the locker room (hard not to, though I enjoy doing it ) have very different attitudes when it comes to exposing their body, particularly their genitals and bottoms. Some guys (myself included) have no problem walking naked around, stripping all the way in full view either by the benches or in the showers. Others will go fully nude, but face the wall in order to avoid their equipment being seen. The rest (I've noticed most of them are teens) wrap themselves in the towel and change their underwear/speedo/trunks underneath it and shower with the swimming attire on. I feel there's shame in showing what you're packing. I go all out. How about you?
  7. 43%!!! I thought I was a lot more pure than that... Guess I'm not such a good boy after all...
  8. Hi. Personaly I look for the way guys (I notice guys more often, not so much women for obvious reasons) look at other people of the same gender. The way people walk (especially if two guys jwalk just a little bit closer than I'm used to see), talk (especially the voice tone and way of saying certain words), stand and the way they dress. I know it's shallow and superficial, but besides my boyfriend I know very few gay people. Some more flamboyant guys are easier to scope out, but most look just like any other guy. I think my gaydar works somewhat well, but as far as I know I fly so low that no one considers me gay. I say this because all the people who know I'm gay never figured me out as being gay, except those who hung around me and my boyfriend a lot while our relationship was still in the shadow for everyone, which was roughly about a year and a half.
  9. There are 2 songs that make me cry when I listen to them: This link is for Eric Clapton's "Tears in Heaven"; This one's for Faith Hill's "There you'll be".
  10. WOOW!! I can't believe you opened a a new forum thread on account of my birthday!! I'm so honoured!! I had a great day indeed. It was all about being with my friends and family. I spent most of the day in one of my country's most beautiful places, Sintra. Google it and I promiss you it'll blow you away. And after you see some of the pictures, picture yourselves there with the ones you love the most. Amazing! I can honestly say it was my best birthday ever. Thank you all again for flattering me so! I never expected this. Take care
  11. That story sounds so beautiful!!! I've heard about it and thought it was so sweet... I'd love it if homossexuals were allowed to adopt children and raise them as their own. There are so many children in orphanages who could benefit from a loving family. In my country gays and lesbians can't even get married, let alone adopt. Some ultra-conservatives here piss all over themselves at the mere thought. I believe it's still a debate nowadays and will be for years to come.
  12. I have to agree with Conner on this. I think using such words can be extremelly hurtful. I'm gay and it would affect me if they were said about/to me with the intent of hurting and insulting. However, I believe one must first assess the situation, time, place and audience when doing something like this. If it is said in playful fashion I don't think it could be that harmful. Same goes for gay jokes. If you don't appreciate your friends or accointances using those words just tell them and everything should be alright.
  13. PARAB
  14. Hi, I'd like to post this wonderful song. Many pf you will probably not understand what it says in the music since it's in Portuguese, but this type of music - called "Fado" - is to be heard with your heart. Allow the singer's wonderful voice to penetrate your soul and touch your heart as Fado transmits profound feelings one cannot express by words. Feel Saudade...
  15. I would never consider myself pure. I don't think anyone could ever consider himself/herself pure, especially in the sex department which is so often considered extremelly not pure by repressive societies who often can't even bear the thought of a naked human being without twitching their nose. I've never had sex with a stranger and though I find the thought extremelly arousing and intense I don't think I'll ever be able to. The fear of a disease is too much even if we used a lot of condoms. Plus you never know if the guy will decide to have his way with you after it. The risks are just too many. Plus I'm extremelly happy in my relationship and after experiencing having sex with someone I trully love I don't know if I could jump fron this to a one night stand with a guy that means nothing to me.
  16. Thank you so much for making me feel so welcomed here. I feel like I'm as if I'm home. You're all awesome! Thanks.
  17. Congratulations to the wise man who got this topic started because happiness is definitely a goal in my life. I don't think it can come more serious than when we talk about happiness as, in my opinion, it is comprised of all the positive things you have in your life. I chose only to have and keep my partner and to be healthy in the long run. Money is important, no doubt about it, but as long as I have the first two I have more than enough reasons to smile and start my day well. Wow! My first post on a forum (not counting the one I wrote to present myself when I first arrived at GA) and it's about something as great as happiness!! What a great way to begin my posts. Thank you so much to whomever started this topic!! You rule! Take care
  18. Hi. I just signed up and thought this would be the best place to start. I'm currently reading a member's story which I find great and, as it turns out, the author is pretty friendly and I find it great to talk to him. So joining GA seems like a good way to read other wonderful stories and meet more people. The site seems amazing so I'm off to explore it. Hope to hear from you all. Dargon
