Headstall wrote what I was thinking when he said "Just as a note...When I said in my review that Marc seemed to be too good to be true" As a long time reader of everything Mark has posted, I study everything to pick up clues. Whenever a new character appears I become suspicious, especially one that suddenly changes the direction of the storyline. I hope that Marc is the person that Brad has been needing in his life and that they live happily ever after. The next few chapters have a lot of delicious plot lines, a holiday feast of highly anticipated reading.

The dynamic between Marc and Will could be interesting. Brad shifting so much attention to Marc might cause problems for Will.

Something we are all thankful for is the wonderful writing of Mark Arbour. A special treat today is to see another chapter of this great story. Thank you Mark!

The arc of this saga is JP and his protégé Will. Will could see that JP was troubled when no one else did. Perhaps Will understands JP even more than Stef. How appropriate that Mr. Cheney's name is Dick.

Everyone is aboard the Mark Arbour roller-coaster and we are in for a ride. Elizabeth is just too nice, so she must be up to something. Alex is a cad and he is still looking for his pot of gold. JJ is not going to buy whatever lame excuse he gets from Alex. Hopefully JJ can use his anger to prove he really is a good skater. I think two pills will give JJ a good night's sleep and he will wake up with a better understanding of where his relationship with Alex is going. Hope he talks with Will before he speaks to Alex. So many juicy plot lines from just this one chapter. Thank you Mark for keeping this story so well written and captivating.

Good job, Mark. I thought they had actually arrested Brad. Always looking for clues in these chapters. Brad thought back to the Omega deal as a potential problem and then a name from the past comes up. Love the roller coaster rides Mark gives us.

If enough money was on the table, Alex would be on the next plane to London. Be sure that Brad will have spies watching JJ. The whole lunch meeting with JJ and Brad was just too smooth. Once again Mark is setting us up.........

Causing harm to a child is a very serious crime and the coach paid with his life. As I said before, we all know this is fiction and many taboo subjects are part of this saga. Some taboo topics push more buttons than others. JJ is still in a situation of older/younger and yet he seems to be the one pushing this relationship. If it gets to a place where it is harmful for JJ, the family will make Alex disappear as they have done to others.

Okay, we all know this is fiction and we all know the teacher/student, coach/student, adult/child sexual taboos. Did JJ seduce his coach or the coach seduce JJ? Seems like the little diva does not do anything he would not want to do.

Finally we get to see something of JJ's character. Thank you Mark, 'Streak' has been rather low key until now. I can put on the popcorn and open a beer, waiting for the show to start.

Alex is a creep. Hammer is scary. Zach and Will keep getting closer. Can't wait for the next chapter to see what happens in Hawaii when Zach's parents see Will lurking around. Happy birthday to you, Daddydavek

I can relate to Zach's ankle sprain. I stepped off a rain slicked curb, twisted my ankle and ripped the tendons in the arch of my right foot. Plantar fasciitis pain for six months. If this injury keeps Zach from playing for an extended period it might cause the scouts to move on to other players. It only takes one injury at the wrong point in your potential career to greatly reduce the prospects in the future draft. This will either bring Will and Zach closer or go off the rails.

Seems my prediction about Zach was partly true. I expected him to be caught in flagrante delicto. Still waiting for the well known Mark Arbor evil streak to throw us all for a loop. All of this goody-goody stuff has me worried that the W and Z story is about to get complicated. About Zach; aren't all "athletes" egotistical, self centered, and narcissistic?

I had a good helping of weenie with special sauce. Labor day was a quite day and I only checked for updates once per hour. Real tail is always better than a fictional tale.

I dare to say that no virgin has read all of Mark Arbor's stories............. Mark is carefully taking his time with this chapter because of this challenge. Since the brave Granger saved Mrs. Elgin in her distress, she must now offer him some sense of thanks. It will take a while before she can figure out how to be humble and perhaps actually be nice. It will be a true test of the author to change the shrew to a lady.

Ricky, I tried other browsers and other computers, must be something wrong with my Comcast connection. Every chapter Mark writes is certainly worth waiting for. My deepest appreciation for the hard work of Mark and crew for some of the best writing on the internet. When these infrequent delays occur I just go back and read the preceding chapters again to glean a few morsels I might have missed. "They also serve who only stand and wait"

I hope JJ does not hurt Alex. JJ is very focused on JJ.

I think Zach can keep his love for Will a secret under wraps because of the ability of Will's family to protect him. We have seen what happens to anyone who threatens or harms someone they care about. It won't be good news for Zach, knowing that Will is soon to own a gay bar with a private apartment connected.

I like the little yellow faces, such as these for JJ and Alex. A lot of taboo subjects make there way into these CAP stories. So what if there is an age gap as long as it's consensual. JJ is of legal age and has already had a sexual encounter with his older coach so he is not naïve. So many gay people around him has not caused him to flee to a more straight environment. I don't perceive Alex to be a bad person who would harm JJ.
