  1. The article makes it seem like this is some new phenomenon. Party & Play (PnP as its called here in the US) has been around for a very long time.
  2. Yezzzzzzzzz!
  3. It was the political discussion forum on GA. It got closed in December of 2012 because a couple people whined that they got their feelings hurt. It was my favorite forum.
  4. He's obviously gay, and pretty damn hot. I'll try it if he agrees to teach me personally. I think this is how most people would end up looking like though.
  5. Debate is good. If it gets a little heated and nationalistic, so be it. The Soapbox got taken away from us, so this is the only option. Let the gloves come off! And yes, the Europeans are hardly ones to give morality lessons on race to Americans. *cough* Africa *cough*
  6. Today, July 1st, marks the beginning of the three day clash that is today known as the Battle of Gettysburg in 1863. For those of you not up on American history, Gettysburg is a small town in the northern state of Pennsylvania. The Confederate Army's move into Pennsylvania was it's first (and only) attempt at invading into Northern soil, as the war up to that point had taken place primarily in Virginia and Maryland. Long story short, over three days of incredibly bloody fighting, the Confederate Army was dealt a crippling blow and forced to retreat back into Virginia. 160,000 troops total took part, and 50,000 were either killed, wounded, or captured. The Confederate Army never fully recovered from the crippling losses, and was put on the defensive for another 2 years of bloody conflict till they finally surrendered in April of 1865. Thus, in a small Pennsylvania town unknown to the world, the unity and freedom of the United States of America was upheld by 94,000 brave Union soldiers. Here's a short clip of the Battle of Little Round top and Pickett's Charge from the 1993 film, Gettysburg, set to The Battle Cry of Freedom.
  7. I trim my pubes with a hair trimmer for no reason other than aesthetics. Every guy, no matter what type he is, should at least trim to some extent down there.
  8. Maybe the problem is that you got a $12 NZD, or about $8.50 USD, haircut. Seriously man, if you care about your hair it is worth it to get a more expensive haircut. I cringe every time I shell out $30 USD for my haircut, but I always leave satisfied.

    Flags Of Hate

I have no sympathy for the South during Reconstruction. They enslaved an entire race of people and tried to break up the United States. They continue to drag this country down with their back-ass ways and are the reason why their is still a lot of hate toward LGBT people in this country. You rebelled, and you lost. You got punished for rebelling, and then 100 years later had to be punished again for your continuing poor treatment of black people. Get with the 21st century and stop crying over getting your asses kicked.

    Flags Of Hate

The Confederate flag needs to die a death here in the United States. It is quite frankly, shameful, that an entire region of this country embraces it as THE symbol of their heritage. The South just can't help but to continue to embarrass itself on the national and world stage. The fact that most southern politicians were in support of keeping the flag up (even after the shooting) until today is a disgrace.
  11. Men are bigger, faster, stronger. Sports has also been a traditionally male-dominated thing, both in playing and watching. Put any professional mens team up against a professional women's team and the men will run over them. Most people are more interested in men's sports simply because men are better athletes overall. Its not PC, but its true.
  12. Williamsburg was already a hot neighborhood in the early 2000s. You would have had to buy in the 80s or early 90s to cash in significantly on the gentrification of near Brooklyn. I read a story of one couple who bought a couple of brownstones in Williamsburg for $75,000 a piece in 1986, fixed them up and rented them out for a while, and sold the three for well over $5M in the mid 2000s.
  13. Eamon killed it in his solo in this. Also, I can see my apartment building in this video.
  14. I love, love, love, love, love this song.
  15. A great Irish-American take on a British (I think?) World War I remembrance song.
  16. Night Visions, by Imagine Dragons. Particularly the songs Tiptoe and Bleeding Out.
  17. Is that where the kid who kicked my ass on the playground in 2nd grade went to school?
  18. Yup, going to Mexico and Grand Cayman this summer with my boyfriend. Same Q.

    Shi'ite Vs. Sunni

It'll be an advancement for human dignity and liberal values the day the Middle East falls apart.
  20. I am solidly a Millennial (1992) and I played Oregon Trail all the time. My dad went out and bought us a copy of it and my brother (a '94 baby) and I played it so much we probably wore the thing out. Granted we spent 90% of the game just dicking around on the hunting feature, but hey we were boys.

It'll be interesting watching Arabs tear themselves apart once their oil economy dries up. Their only usefulness is oil, and once that is gone the world will be a better place without them.
  22. Find me a gay guy, and I will show you the definition of resilience. We have learned how to be resilient, survive, and now thrive. Now matter how much they have tried to stamp us out, we always found a way to survive.
  23. If you want interesting and seemingly completely original/made up names, work at a mostly black school like me. As a white guy growing up in an all white area, I had never heard of 99% of my kid's names until I moved to the city. La-a (translated to "Ladasha") Kenyano (named after the country I guess). Linguina (makes me think of Italian pasta) Princess I feel bad for these kids when they actually have to start applying for jobs as adults.
  24. I'm gonna write this blog entry off as youthful ignorance.
  25. http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/the-ultimate-beginners-full-body-workout.html Here is a link to a really good beginner's workout. It has a lot of good advice, all the exercises are pretty basic, and it explains how to do each one.
