  1. So, its Christmas time and all the radio stations are playing the same old Christmas songs over and over again. One of the most frequent is this song by Christian rock band, New Song, called Christmas Shoes. Its basically about this little boy who's mother is dying on Christmas Eve and he wants to buy her a pair of shoes as a Christmas present. He doesn't have enough money, and this guy in line pays for them himself so the little boy can have the shoes for his mamma. Sounds sad right? Well, if you take it at face value it is. But when you think about how this song is not real, and was written to tug at people's emotions to get them to buy the song so they'd make money, it all becomes incredibly cheesy and just stupid. Patten Oswald, a comedian, broke down the song in a hilarious way. Here's the original song, Christmas Shoes. And here's the Patten Oswald comedic breakdown of this horrible song.
  2. For only having been to two different countries, you sure have traveled far.
  3. Several actually.
  4. My favorite day of the year. I bought a ton of clothes and an iPhone 5. I'm finally one of the cool kids now.
  5. I much prefer the taste of twinks over twinkies.
  6. Shopping on Newbury Street. Expensive but a lot of fun if you're into that kinda thing.
  7. I can sympathize. I used to work at Target in logistics, and I know the absolute insaneness that goes on from Thanksgiving night to Christmas. Its miserable and not fun.
  8. They brought back Furbies not all that long ago. Scary.
  9. All us gay boys discover it at some point. Might as well be when your young.
  10. You should download Grindr.
  11. I still keep my road carpet........
  12. Straight guys are good for masturbating. Its best to just leave emotions out of it.
  13. I come from a long line of veterans. One grandpa was in the Navy in WWII, and the other was in the Marine Corp during Korea. My dad is an Army veteran and I have a step-cousin who is both a veteran of the Iraq War and the War in Afghanistan. To all of them, and all who have served and are serving, thank you. One of my favorite songs: The Green Fields of France by Dropkick Murphys
  14. There has been virtually no talk of it here. ESPN has a monopoly on sports coverage in the United States, and they are too busy kissing ass to the NBA to notice anything about the NHL. I watch Sportscenter almost daily and they rarely ever mention it. When there was a NFL and NBA lockout, it took up 45 minutes of every hour of Sportscenter. Its absolutely sickening and makes me really hate ESPN.
  15. Yes it is. Many people don't count going inside Vatican's walls as visiting a seperate country, but it is a sovereign state separate from Italy.
  16. ESPN hasn't even seemed to notice theres a lockout. They are too busy jizzing over the stupid NBA.
  17. Go where the money is. Let the do-gooders and mediocre people run the money losers.
  18. I've only seen the North American version, so I'd have to say Ben Bruckner.
  19. Well my car didn't get crushed by a tree with all that howling wind, so I guess thats a good thing.
  20. I knew you were kidding, I just wanted to josh you. I still like to read Nifty sometimes to get my "every gay teenage male fantasy" fix, but after experiencing reality a little bit I just can't enjoy them like they used to. I'm waiting for a story where they actually write about a realistic relationship where they both aren't perfect and they don't have orgasmic, mind blowing, perfect sex the first time they do it.
  21. You must live in Nifty land.
  22. I can't really say anything that you probably haven't already heard, but I'm truly sorry for your loss.
  23. Nope. How can you decide if you love someone if you've just seen them for the first time? Do you know anything about them? Do you even know their name? How can you love someone you know nothing about? Love at first sight is a wild fantasy created by depressed poets and Disney to make 13 year old girls swoon in their panties.
  24. My friend, who's 220 lbs, and me, who's 185, almost got blown halfway across campus walking back to our apartment from lunch. And the worst hasn't even hit us yet. This is gonna be fun....
  25. I've always wanted to go to the former Yugoslavia. I find the unfortunate breakup of that country a fascinating and disturbing tale of nationalism gone awry. Sarajevo is on my list of places to go to before I die, as is Dubrovnik and Belgrade. I just bought my ticket to Europe for next summer (unfortunately no stops in the Balkans), but I'll be adding several countries to my list by next summer: Finland Italy Vatican City Germany England France
