  1. Yes, that was a typo.
  2. Let me make this very clear. I would discriminate or actively seek to them out to make their life harder. All I was saying is that I would not associate with them because they are not my type of person.
  3. Thanks everyone.
  4. One of the main reasons I find these guys completely physically and emotionally unattractive is their effeminacy. I find nothing appealing about a guy who doesn't act like a guy. And yes, for all you culturally sensitive, politically correct people, I consider people who act like a traditional man a real man. Effeminacy was never considered a favorable trait among men. If they wanna act like women and do all this stuff, then fine, they have every right to do so. But we as gay people should not expect to be welcomed with open arms into mainstream society if we embrace and publicize this kind of stuff. *sits back and waits for WWIII to start*
  5. What I found disgusting about him had nothing to do with him as a person. It had everything to do with what he looked like that I found completely unappealing. I think people took this as an attack on the person's character when all I was referring to was his looks.
  6. Then fine, you may not find it disgusting, but I do. Thats yours choice. I'm not going to to lie about how I feel to the question posed just because a few overly sensitive people may find it "too strong of words".
  7. HAPPY (late) BIRTHDAY!!!
  8. HAPPY BIRTHDAY LACEY!!!
  9. Why would you ever take Michael Moore as fact?
  10. I was simply stating my opinion. I think its incredibly ugly, but that is just my opinion/preference.
  11. HAPPY BIRTHDAY LINXEY!!!
  12. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
  13. Agreed.
  14. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
  15. I think its disgusting. If its a girl, then fine. But its a guy, so its not attractive AT ALL!. Feminine guys are a huge turnoff. Ones that dress so well like a girl you could mistake them for one is an even bigger turnoff.
  16. American History X. To see someone get so close to redemption and then get murdered was soul crushing. Well actually, I didn't cry while watching that movie because I was watching it with two friends, and I would have caught hell for crying over a movie. But I wanted to cry, so it kinda counts. Edit: I just thought of one where I actually did and still do cry. Stand By Me!
  17. I don't know whether to cry or laugh my ass off
  18. Yeah, the number one rule for making a LDR last was broken here. Someone very wise told me once that to make a LDR work, you have to have a point in the not so distant future where you can be close together. If you have nothing to look forward to but once a month meetings and thats it, then it is doomed to fail unfortunately . I went through some of the same things you did. I met my boyfriend on the internet (here on GA actually) and we did the whole long distance thing for 9 months. It wasn't ideal, but we made it work. When it came time to get ready for college (April or so) we decided that if we couldn't be close together, we would end it. I really loved him, so I decided to apply to colleges close to where he was going, and I got in, and now were happily together and no more long distance. Thats sucks though that it didn't work out for you man.
  19. People who say long distance relationships don't work are wrong, mostly. It takes a special kind of person to make long distance relationships work, and I'm sure that you can make it work too. Having been in a LDR for 9 months, I know what its like. One thing that is a key to making LDRs work is setting a date in the future where you know you'll be able to go from long distance to being in a normal, close relationship. My boyfriend and I both decided that if we couldn't be close to each other sometime soon, we would end it. We were lucky and were able to be close. So, that is a very important aspect in a serious LDR. If you can't eventually be close to each other, then chances are it won't work out unfortunately. But hopefully you can make it work. As for the Seasonal disorder, I have no idea about that, so sorry.
  20. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
  21. Wait, so UD wants to try and compete with an Ivy League school? Why?
  22. I'm not really sure. I know they have a pretty good law school for "average" people. It is quite popular I believe. Actually, Joe Biden used to teach a few classes at Widener Law up until he became Vice-President.
  23. I believe you spelt Widener wrong. (sorry, I couldn't help it. )
  24. Happy Birthday Mr. Benji!!!!
  25. I do not get why people have to have a ceremony and all that stuff to say 'I'm committed to you'. I don't think getting "married" makes you any more committed to your significant other. I don't need a priest or government official to tell me I'm committed. Thats bullshit. If I'm committed, I will show it through my actions. Why do you need a whole little ceremony to show it? I don't get it. IF you wanna get married, fine, go for it. But if you are marrying just to try and show that you are committed, I think thats wrong. You should be able to show that you are regardless of a ring on a finger or not.
