    Don't have a tree this year, so here is a picture from 1997. My mother was 84 then and suffering advanced dementia. This was her last Christmas at my house.

    I write short stories. I mean that literally they are short and I still have trouble finishing them. Maybe a few I could label finished even though I haven't. The stories are unfinished for the reader but also for me the 'writer'. Maybe that's because life is often left unfinished. I simply write where the words take me. A member here recently posted a new chapter for his story on GA which I really like, after a very long wait. I was so happy to see this. For me the reader and for him the writer. His story is well worth the wait.

    I like pepperoni, mushrooms and onions or black olives, green pepers and ground beef. If I order from phone. If I go to the little Italian place where they make the best pizza in my area, I think, I experiment more. Goat cheese and sun dry tomatoes.
