Great opening chapter. I'm in this for the long ride. Whatever. Wherever. Whoever.

Well Lucas in his endearing way is well on his way to becoming an influencer!! I am loving the introduction of Kevin the vampire hunter. But I'm pretty sure Van Helsing is turning in his grave!! Or is that reserved for vampires only? Perhaps not since you're turning the whole myth on its head. Or is that only reserved for vampires?

A most enjoyable chapter. Love the descriptive writing, feeling the warmth of the country both physical and emotional. Oliver seems to have always been uptight epitomised by his way of making his lists and measuring time in his phone conversations with his mother Now he has the opportunity to let himself relax for the first time in a longwhile or perhaps always. I look forward to sharing his journey; or perhaps his pilgrimage?

Looking forward to the development of this story. Interesting characters in Evan and Edmundo. Their first round considered a draw. The beginning of a long duel?

Hilarious. The family scenes and Sunday lunch a sort of a cross ( hopefully not a silver one ) between Soap and Interview with a Vampire. Hope I'm still around when the movie's released!

Oliver is making a determined effort not to fall into depression over his divorce and dismissal. A fresh start and another country opening up new experiences and new friendships. A very promising start.

With Henry now committed to Nico and Ivo do we foresee an invitation to Marcus to join in the fun?

And the novelist Paulo Coelho " Listen to your heart. It knows all things".

Henry is finding the inner strength that he has always possessed. And has used that not his physical strength dealing with a loudmouth like Marcus. He is still unsure "if a man like him belonged in something that intense" with Nico and Levi. I am sure he will be reassured on Friday.

I am loving the detail in the story; your writing is bringing alive the personality of the period. I am also enjoying the development of a friendship between two intelligent and cultured young men which promises closer ties in the future. Ties, which family status and military discipline could cause them some problems.

Bravo. Amazing chapter. I can only echo what Andy felt "He was amused. He was entirely, profoundly delighted".

Another wonderful chapter The first section had me chuckling over the silliness of corporate office life you portray. And of Alex digging deeper the well of his deception. But I especially enjoyed Alex's line " Coming out as straight is a process, Ryan". Oh the irony!. Then the humour of the two plotting what to tell of their lives and love over the last 7 years, and the realisation that they had been living that life , bar sex. And then that occured, quite naturally and the way you related it was breathtaking. That wasn't a practice like the earlier kiss. That was for real but howcome Alex cannot grasp that is beyond me. Still on his supposed journey from straight to gay to straight! Stupid boy! I eagerly await the conclusion especially the way I'm sure you will find for Alex to make up with Ryan.

The usual way of vanquishing a vampire is with a stake through the breast to the heart. Lucas has taken an alternative approach with a different kind of stake and approaching the vampire's heart from the rear. This story is definitely going to be fun. Will they be having steak for lunch on Sunday?

Swimming with dolphins, yes. Swimming with orcas? The two guys now cannot get enough of each other. The island needs to be renamed. Fantasy island possibly. Aphrodisia island definitely. Now two pairs of eyes watching them. Human? Animal? Fae? Interesting developments ahead.

I love the way these three are reacting in the climbing ; and the way their sexual experience means they can enjoy and explore each other further in a way that is not forced.

An enjoyable episode, warm and loving and sexy , with its usual complement of amusement provided in this instant by their daughters' interruptions. Dating problem solved by one dad ; and a last minute coq au vin by the other. All to the accompaniment of Cole Porter.

Sorry but I had to do a double take over these lines at the start of this chapter. "Oh what's that Jake? " Mannly asked with a gleam in his eye, looking at what Jake was holding. "A Glorious Morning muffin. Have you ever had one?" Did he really endearingly call him muffin? And show him his morning glory? With Shir in the room?

Storylines developing nicely

A lovely erotic chapter bringing in Ivo as anticipated. Is going to be exciting to follow the three when they get together.

The elite young are always leaders in the fashions of the day. Chapter 4 is perhaps where we ,to quote Varus, " See how Roman men are made.....that Germania sends us more than spears ".

A visit to a gymnasium and thermae will be most instructive. I hope Ingomar has packed his loincloth. Romans unlike Greeks wore minimal clothing in these public spaces.

The ending was always going to be low key but it was wonderfully told. It has fulfilled my expectations for Ryder and Owen who are building on their love for each other and may it continue to grow. And I apologise to Margot and wish the same for her and Jules. Thank you for taking us on the ride.
