I do adore your baby creations. Cecil and the baby cherub. For an infinitesimal moment I thought Cecil was definitely a chip off the old block( i.e Charlie as was). Cherub shaking its rattle, Cecil squeaking Mr Binkie, the beginning of an eternal relationship? Then he becomes uncle Matt !! Oh dear. Have I got the right perspective on this story? When every commentator dwells on the drama (WHICH IS DEFINITELY ENGROSSING) why do I find so much entertainment and humour In half a dozen lines that create an image that will stick with me! The mark of a great writer.

What a delight is Cecil! Bringing his avus paternus more into the family mix. I'm sure there is a great chaotic future awaiting him.

If I wanted a dry history there are plenty of books around. The story you are telling whilst grounded in fact is all the more compelling because you are adding life to an historical episode, fleshing out its bare bones with a fantastic description of what it would have been like on the frontier of Germania. And giving us, a real bonus I know, a developing story of betrayal and horror, and of trust and love.

I am abashed. Apologies must be mine to you. This was not intended to upset you and was definitely not intended as a sarcastic rant. I would not be following this story with the thoroughness I am if I were not ''involving'' myself as well as enjoying it. There are twists and turns in this fantasy that I love, and the questions I raised I had hoped to be humorous as well as exploratory. If I may, I shall continue to immerse myself in the story. -
The Roman army was the most disciplined and formidable fighting force of the time. With few exceptions it had proven invincible in battle. Varus' belief in this, and his trust in the 'friendship' of Arminius and the subjugated Cherusci, have led him into complacency. We now know that Arminius is lying to him. Ingomar knows this too, does not know why, but for the moment is content 'to wait and see'. Marcus must do the same, trusting in the bond developing between them. A bond that is surely going to be severely tried!

'All's well that ends well'. Well not quite yet. There are some loose ends and relationships to be tied up. And more hilarity after the seriousness of the litigation? Please.

Matt has a job!! I thought he had one already - creating chaos. But he now has a new opportunity to do that, working for a former enemy. Or is he settling down to a life of domesticity in the Hartley household especially now Simon is living there? And will Cecil become the new bringer of chaos? Good to have some relief from legal machinations.

With all the legal stuff being sorted, for me the most pressing questions are : has Cecil's nappy been changed yet? and by whom? I hope his patres are not in this day and age leaving it to his avia!

Taine's backward latin words that soothed Cecil in Tesco did not make sense. Cecil needs instruction in the declension of latin nouns. His first word surely should have been 'Patres'. Let's get Matt working on that. He's looking (?) for a career.

Coming late to the story I am not going to read other comments until I have made mine, so forgive any duplication. Of course Matt was going to wear a pack of nappies on his head! Where else would he think they go? Uncle Matt is already teaching Cecil the rudiments of unrestricted joie de vivre. I can't wait for him or indeed all the boys to start changing Cecil. And I must admit to enjoying the episode in Edgar's shop and sharing his laughter.

Just starting to read this story of Several Men and a Baby. And Granma. Baby is going to cause a whole lot of mayhem. Perhaps Tyler and his stoicism needs to return home. He always seemed to be a rock the rest could cling to.

Saturday morning binge to catch up with Charlie's and the gang's escapades. Another delightful read with the most adorable of characters, barring of course the baddies (but even they are amazing!). Love especially Tyler for his stoicism. And that bundle of fun that is the polycule Matt. Lunch now (VEGETARIAN), and then settle down with the rest of the bottle of wine to catch up with the next story.

So. Dale somehow brought a willing young Daisy to the island for love/sex. With plenty of supplies including penicillin (storage life 3 years) and presumably ample means of contraception since there are no mini Dale/ Daisies around. Or is it something in the water? Then were marooned themselves? But Dale at sometime expects to obtain a replacement for Daisy. Connor and Jamie show up. Then it all kicks off. Dale shows himself to be a madman etc. I do so enjoy a good fantasy! But please, spare the orca! -
Late to this intriguing story. Loving the slow development of the relationship of Hank and Jesse, who despite his perilous situation, is putting himself out there as a target, willingly and lovingly entrusting his safety to Hank and his team. And the opposition? Soon to be a case of the biter bit!!

A great chapter but not an unsurprising development. Marcus seems to have forgotten the sadness of losing Sean in his enjoyment of sex with the brothers. Whether either brother has more to offer Marcus than that remains to be seen. -
I've found such sweet delight in your last two chapters. But they brought to my mind lines from a lullaby. " So rest thee my darling and sleep whilst you may, For strife comes with manhood as waking with day".

A great storyline development. Love that Zuma is Luc's abandoned match, but one yet to be fulfilled? The link between the two is potent, and Luc must have realised, when returning to Helderlus to find Nos' own stolen match , that there must be some kind of reparation to be made to Zuma. The reunion of Cal and Nos will be joyous. I'm sure Orion's punishment will be a fitting one. Perhaps Nos forgiving him might be shameful enough! Or spending eternity in shackles!

So now I know there were no other survivors. So no likely search for Connor and Jamie even if their bodies have not been found. Which just leaves an explanation for D & D's presence on the island. Could this be an Adam and Eve and Adam and Steve sit com? And the orca which befriended Jamie? Let's not forget her/him please. -

Just who is Darrin? Why does he keep asking Jamie did you pregame? Why would he assume a bewildered Jamie was all fucked up? He really should be asking me if I'm bewildered. Cos I am! -
What was it Vince said? Oh yes. "Keep your commands for the bedroom". Well. Back in human form Theo calls Vince over. Jack doesn't want to be left out of the scolding. At least that's what Theo says it is going to be. First time I've heard it called that!
