  1. How about, Eric Clapton's, Wonderful tonight, there's another song, can't remmember the title but somewere it contains the words, '''baby I wana do all the things a man won't do, I love you from the bottom to the top. not sure what the title is but I get a boner
  2. Have you ever fantasized over someones voice, or thought that either a tv or movie actor has the most awsome voice and you wished that voice could be whispering only to you, next to you. What kind of voices or whose voice turns you on. I'm mor a radio man than movies or tv, but for those who may have heard him, Toby Stephens, and Jude law, come close, or maybe you could think of more interesting egs. It would be interesting if you'd post those voice clips as well.

    Hi Folks

Hey there Louis, wellcome, and a humongous hug, I read your stories before I thought I'd message you. It was stunning, both, Rain and stars must die. I feel that both would become tear jerkers and have gut wrenching potential. As you move on from chapter to chapter I feel more absorbed into finding out about Keegs is gona deal with his challenges. Just a few things though, how long have you lived in sa? I'm enjoying that aspect of the story cause I live in Joburg. Good going mate, What type of music do you listen while you write, and is there some music you'd recommend for, Even stars must die. take care, write on bro, can't wait for the next chapter
  5. I'm very much with you on closer. It was pure coincidence that I got to watch closer but enjoyed it from the beginning and watched it twice more. As for the dirty talking, it was very realistic.
  6. Thanks for suggestions Tim, I'm gona check them out. Which of Gh's stories are your favs, I'm reading the happy years at the moment
  7. Agree with Simon, to be happy with myself, being there for those who need me, and making a difference in what way. I'd also need to be happy in my job, not necessarily being well paid. radio is my passion so I hope to make a huge difference in the radio industry and make it more meaningful than just being a chirpy dj, bringing people together and using the power that radio has to cause a ripple in the waters of complacency. I dono if that sounds like its too much, but I'll stand by that. Thanks for your though prevoking and interisting oppinions
  8. Ive just completed part two of just hit send. Cried buckets, I hope the guys eventually end up together. I somehow really feel for Jordy. Love stories like this where the guys devellop, learn and grow. Its the first Gh story I've read and I'm looking forward to reading more. Thanks for the suggestion. Anymore like this?
  9. any other suggestions?
  10. Thanks to those of you that recomended stories by grass hopper, his stories are definately tearjerkers and makes you wana know what happens next. you get to feel for the guys, I'm reading college days, done with school days. Any more suggestions, i've read adam philips, Ricky, Rec, dan kincade, Sarah bell, and Don haggerty along with Dom luka. I'm looking for stories that are not prodictable, angsty, long with sequels and that don't always have a happy ending.
  11. Dusty springfield's, you don't have to say you love me, Hopelessly devoted to you, Janis Ian, at 17,
  12. I hope that you atleast have one close friend. I sometimes used to find that when sitting in a group I was expected to say somthing, and there I'd sit, mouth full of teeth, tongue in my mouth, saying nothing cause, 1, I didn't have anything to say and 2, that it may sound stupid. I'm with you when you say that you need to able to trust your close friend as well, and sometimes, it takes time to trust, take care
  13. i don't think that posting this poll is being selfish at all. but I must go on to say that I'm a dietition's nightmare. While I'm not too badly out of shape, I'm getting there. My diet, chips, rice and white bread with curry, potato curry, beens as well. I know that it is not exactly the most healthiest of foods but hey, gona try to cut down and atleast do 1 type of exercise even if it means climbing up and down stairs, or walking distances,
  14. How about, itsi bitsi, teenie weenie, yelo poka lambogini, Rick astly's, never gona let you down, there was a time you'd hear it every where, on busses, in people's cars, glad we don't hear that any more
  15. hei there, if you had to choose someone from a tv series, or from fiction as your bff, dream lover, who would that be, gay or not. use the imagination, it has no boundries. Who would you choose as your dream lover, or someone you'd wana spend your life with.
  16. You truely are a master of your craft, Nef. I feel I can see the type of bro you have. I too have rfriend who are both good people, but live together because it's just comfortable or out of habit. Is he soft spoken, he seems to be, as some may say, an old soal. Thankyou for sharing that, your all time fan
  17. I'm with you on, Too much heaven, by the Bgs, the birthday song, ye, definately, but the song that me feel like I have a tooth ache has to be, I may be treading on some toes here, but here goes, Brian Adams, anything I do, I do it for you, noooooo.
  18. have you ever tried sharing space with someone who just heard a song on the radio and asalts your ears with the song over, and over, and over? Okay, I'll pleed guilty to listening to a Carpentor cd my friend bought me. My room mate after hearing me play it for a month, physically pulled it out of the player and hurled it out of the window.
  19. I can see what you mean about cheepening friendship by calling a stranger a friend, but, there are also degrees of friendship. Someone you havent met yet is a potential friend and therefore whats wrong with calling them that. If you, eg. working in the radio industry, you need to sound friendly. while people listening to you arn't your close friends, there's a kind of bond, what can we call that. Most of us don't know each other, while we may not be close, there's a certain friendship, or maybe, connection there isn't there. I know what you mean though about your bringing friends home and calling them his close friends. i know of people who calls everyone they meat their best friends. John, totally agree about bailing you out at 3 in the morning. but what's the most amazing thing your friends done for you, it could be dumping you in the shower when you were drunk, watch you all night when you weren't feeling all that good, something that no one else would do,
  20. Hey, how about Modesty blaze and willie GArvin, talking about the Pieterr O'donnald books. Jane and Mr. rochister, jane and father Nick darrow, from the book, The miracle worker, suzan howatch.
  21. A friend of mine played, Lets just kiss and say goodbye, adnorsium. what about songs with some dum lyrics, or, the, slit your wrist songs
  22. Friendship is the voluntary glue that holds together the hearts of complete strangers, making them family by choice. I'm truely blessed for having the type of friends with staying power. For me its about just being yourself with those people, completely yourself and being able to tell them anything and inspite of that, or what ever you say, they accept you unconditionally. Also for me, a friend is someone who'd understand and just be there, without even speaking and being loyal when you're at the bottom of the social scale
  23. I'm getting to like you more and more, you're a hun and you sound like someone who'd really pull out all stops if you knew someone was in need, thanks for your support for many of the guys on ga, I just luve your reviews, to the world you may be one person, but to one person you may mean the world, keep friendship alive
  24. Neither, in certain instances subtlety could work, I'd lean towards B but not so much of the detailed describtion. Just one or two words could give the reader the extent of their feelings for each other, or have them do something that leads a reader to imagine the extent of their love
  25. I agree with Nef on criteria, they need to complete each other cause its all about ballance, how do they resolve conflict, and ofcourse, there's the ah, moment at the end of the story. Its also about the way they speak to each other, tone of voice, caring, being able to anticipate each other's needs. Onto my couples, jack and zowee, from, Mary Brown's, Playing the Jack, dono how many of you've read that, Jeff and Tracy whitney, from If tomorrow comes, Sam and brian, from, It started with brian, because at the end, they were as one inspite of everything that happend before.
