    Save Tonight

I read this ten years too late. But this tale is timeless. Get some tissues ready. This is about loss and grief, and ultimately how the people you love can help you heal.

  2. An interview with my favorite author on here <<insert fanboi screams>>. Thanks
  3. @CassieQ Thank you so much
  4. @Dan South Thank you thank you thank you for the compliment :3 There was something awful wrong with that pack of his, and we’ll figure out together what that exactly is. 🫢 I really appreciate the feedback.
  5. Thank you, @mikedup, wishing you and everyone else a happy new year, too. It’s going to be great. I can confirm the chapter two cliffhanger will be resolved in chapter four, which is coming very soon. A few more editing rounds and a night of sleep needs to come in-between. Thank you for reading and commenting

    Chapter 1

Very pretty. It warmed my heart. I liked the characters within minutes but it took a long time to unravel the story behind it all, which is just great. Gave me a lot of time to bathe in the atmosphere. The situation was testing, and you managed to weave in that sense of unease into every moment. Really good. Thank you.

    Chapter 6

I'm just here trying to figure out how deep the rabbit hole goes. What an amazing world, ha
  9. @akascrubber Thank you so much for reading and commenting! Grey has charm in spades, and at times is clumsy, at least around humans. "What?" I'm sure he'll do alright on his own for now, he seems to have found some nice people already. Sometimes the people we choose are our real family. Makes you wonder what happened to his pack though... 🫣 @WadeD Makes me happy you enjoy the story so far. I hope to be able to give you enough detail to really feel the world as it exists in my head. Thanks for reading.
  10. AHHHHH @drsawzall don't phrase it like that. It feels like I'm deeply disappointing you! I really do hope you had fun with the chapter and considering you put a ❤️ on it, I hope I can rest easy. Thank you so much for the feedback I promise this isn't Twin Peaks. There will be more answers than new questions soon.
  11. @VBlew THANK YOU It leaves me giddy with joy that you read through all the clues I left. We don't have to go back to the past to find out more about what happened there, even though we eventually will. Thank you so much for reading. "The very ground beneath my feet felt warm, mirroring the colors of Beatrice’s ethereal vessel." ALL OF YOU MAKE MY DAY AHHHH.

    Chapter 1

This was awesome. Short, but awesome. lol
  13. @stranger I smiled reading that. Many threads will tie together and reveal satisfying answers until chapter ten. I'm really trying to be unpredictable. I hope it doesn't bite me in the ass. It all makes sense in the end! I needed a flashback, because who doesn't want to write about magic happening in a forest? I hope Beatrice will also reveal herself to be an onion. I like that metaphor by the way! Thank you 💙 Thank you so much for reading!
  14. @JohnnyC I'm sorry for all these new things. As a reader, I would be furious 🫣 Beatrice is one of the most complex things to ever come out of my head, and I hope for me and everyone that I'll hold it together. I love the theories, please keep 'em coming Thanks for reading, as always.
  15. @chris191070 Thank you for reading and commenting. It helps and I appreciate it so much
  16. Six years ago. The Strawberry Mountains, Oregon. The Belcore Pack. When a wolf turns 15, their place in the pack is determined by the Alpha. The age is completely arbitrary, and if you ask me, the determination part is also just a lie. As Moon Heir—or Prime Pup as Sebastian called me—whatever happened today was pre-determined and nothing would’ve changed it. Unless I dropped dead, of course, which I didn’t. If you think being firstborn to the Alpha was all that nice, it wasn’t. My brot

    Chapter Two: Scent

@CassieQ Clara is wise, intelligent, and has a heart of gold. She’s the killer combo. I hope I’ll do her justice. Thank you so much for reading and commenting. @mikedup The Lunar Haven is a sort of sanctuary I guess. But maybe Grey needs it as much as they need Grey. Heh. Thanks so much for taking the time to write! @JohnnyC Well, Grey smells something, that is for sure. But he also is taking his senses for granted—it has served him well in the past. It is not a honed skill, yet, though 😛 It confuses the shit out of him. Thanks for much for reading, for the feedback, and for taking the clues in!

    Chapter One: Arrival

@JohnnyC Thank you so much, Johnny. It is extremely exciting to witness people reading my stuff. It’s also humbling that you took the time to leave feedback. My fascination with the Pacific Northwest might be quite obvious 😅 @mikedup Thanks for the feedback, Mike, it’s very much appreciated! I hope I’m not losing myself in clues and manage to bring this all together. Thank you Thank you.
  19. I believe it's totally appropriate for the first review I've ever written on the site to be about "Running with the Pack". You'll be binging this after just one chapter. I suggest you start at a time in your life where sleepless nights are appropriate. Aiden and Ethan are the best. If wolves and magic are your thing, THIS is it. I cried, I laughed, and I loved. I still remember the forests vividly in my mind, and while reading, I did so out loud—it's just that good.

    Chapter 50

Running with the Pack was my first real love on this site. And I have read it more than once. You, @WolfM, are an inspiration, and a true artist. It's impossible to not think back to the characters many a time. Ethan and Aiden's relationship is my life goal. I just lack the magic... and the wolf. 😅 Thank you so much. It was finally time to also leave a comment.

    2024

In Germany we would say "Guten Rutsch!" — which roughly translates to "have a smooth slide". So all of you, please do that 2024 is going to be a good year.

    Chapter Two: Scent

I appreciate everyone's time and attention so much, you have given me a lot of joy over the past few days. I even woke up last night to check if someone had put a reaction or comment <.< THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. The third chapter is titled "Strawberry".

    Chapter One: Arrival

Asking the right questions, @drsawzall 😛 Without giving too much away, but you are looking for Chapter 3 for more clarity on all of those questions. And for the "rough guys", I would personally say—ATTENTION, German phrase incoming—"you always meet twice in life".

    Chapter Two: Scent

Thank you thank you thank you @drsawzall — you are totally getting where I am trying to go with the characters. I appreciate it

    Chapter Two: Scent

You have no idea how much pressure this puts on me, @Dan South 🫣 I am definitely not going to be able to keep up the one chapter per day pace. Hope I'm not letting you down though. Soon !
