while Devin's in a less than optimal place, at least its not 1950... at least Devin, the child and the child's mother can all go on and lead decent lives. Different to what they had expected, but decent, nevertheless. good story. thanks.

Questions, Answers, and a Dinner Invitation
Canuk commented on Rigby Taylor's story chapter in Questions, Answers, and a Dinner Invitation
Ah, hmm, like I said last comment....sometimes arousing...๐๐ฎ๐ Mort certainly seems to have found his feet...and every other organ he posses! Please not escorting. Lots of money, but money has never been Morts driving force, and as a profession, I am not sure its all that easy... -
An evening with Calumnia, Hercules Explains, & Mort Dances
Canuk commented on Rigby Taylor's story chapter in An evening with Calumnia, Hercules Explains, & Mort Dances
Shocked? Mr Rigby Taylor, we are 30 chapters in, people have been seduced, murdered, dismembered, drowned, they have had sex in every position known to man, so amazed, delighted, thrilled, startled, bemused, at times even aroused, but shocked? No, not since about line two chapter 1! Somehow its not "shocking" if you expect the unexpected. And with your writing, it is always unexpected, its what makes it so much fun! -
An evening with Calumnia, Hercules Explains, & Mort Dances
Canuk commented on Rigby Taylor's story chapter in An evening with Calumnia, Hercules Explains, & Mort Dances
Mort is a very qualified "virgin", but while he meets a very technical, highly specific definition, to my mind he is about as much a vergin as I am... and frankly as a sexual partner, virgins are the pits. Someone like Mort who has an idea about the body, what he and his partner likes, is far more fun than some innocent who fantasises about losing their "cherry"! -
@droughtquake, this is neither time nor place to get into discussion re support for low income earners/ the unemployed. BUT, I have to say EVERY civilised country except the US has moved beyond "food stamps" for its social safety net. Yes, some countries including Canada where I live use the truly apalling system called "employment insurance" as a poor excuse for a safety net. The vast majority have a universal income tested system that can be called "welfare". Until we can work out a UBI, its the best on offer. Expecting people to feed themselves on $200 a month is punishing someone for being poor, unemployed, unable to be employed. It should not be applauded any where any time.

! A ruined classical Roman compound in FNQ. Hmmmmm. I love the idea of a gated community...i just wouldn't want anyone else there. And I do like how Mort finds people who like working naked. Intriguing...i have a sense of disquiet about this chapter...not all is as it should be. -
Performances, then Heading North.

Very happy for gripping.... installments ๐๐๐ As for pruning fig trees.... nope, recalcitrant or otherwise, if the fig wants to it will, if it doesnt, it won't... with peach or citrus leaving the axe against the tree, tells it who is boss and that there are consequences, figs are like cats, they don't give a fig... As for following Mort, I just do it to see what sexy bastard he picks up next๐๐ -

Archibald Lintel...what a name! He does need to wise up on how to get out of a disasterous marriage. Cunning lawyer, cunning financial adviser, cunning PI; collectively they could get him out at small financial cost. Of course, there is the alternative, wait for Mort, plan the funeral. Arch seems a nice bloke if easily led. He needs Mort to keep him on the gay and narrow, I'd suggest... Great story to read as I drink my Saturday daiquiri..๐ -
No, a cliffy is a cliffy is a cliffy. There are no "grades" of cliffy!

Communication...says it all!๐ Interesting that as far as i recall Massimo is the first well hung "good guy" in this story! I liked the way you described the women's reaction to the mens nudity; shock, then amusement, then recognition and partial aceptance. Of course this progress towards enlightenment was then shot down by that stupid girl who said how she couldn't wait to get to school and tell everyone about the cocks and balls she'd seen and how big Massimo is. If the boys did the reverse (run commentary on the girls less than perfect features) they would be upbraided for being sexist pigs. So sadly the exercise and lesson in toleration didnt actually sink in very far. Despresssingly like "real life". Thanks. As ever a great read.

Hale's Ideas & Performance
Canuk commented on Rigby Taylor's story chapter in Hale's Ideas & Performance
You make me smile. You are a true revolutionary; send out the message, when everyone agrees and thinks it was all their own, some one turns looking for the person to blame/credit and there you are, smiling innocently, "what me? ๐". Really great story. Having a great time๐๐๐! -
It is amazing how Karma strikes so accurately. I sincerely hope Karma's instrument had the wit and wherewithall to make them self/ves untraceable and all relevant people have cast iron alibis Dennis sem to be a classic case of a child that has been encouranged not to communicate anything at any time. Very sad and a lesson that takes so long to get over. His mothers religion in this case seems to have been a major problem. And people wonder why others hate organised religion so much. Great read. Thanks.

Hale's Story, The Gelds, and Mort's Spiel

Well I can see that sermon on human relations going down well at St Pats, St Pauls or St Mary's (the only cathedrals I can think lf at present!)! Would certainly change the path of organised religion. They may even get a few parishioners under the age of 60! Very entertaining, I like the way you entice us readers into your world view! Its certainly an interesting world๐ -

Well, apart from needing a towel to soak up the sarcasm re organised religion dripping from my computer, very enjoyable chapter! Hale is one impressive bloke! Interesting the description of his act and why he shaves; i once saw a piece of Greek theatre where all the actors were naked, they too had shaved and acquired a mild all-over tan and it is true once you initially saw the 15 or so naked men with masks, you ceased seeing them as "naked men" but as the characters. Thanks. good story! Sorry forgot to add - "Pearl of Tajikistan"? very unique.... -
i was trying to keep the politics subtle

well I suppose better than my initial thought...they are hiding out at 725 5th Ave, New York, NY 10022, USA.....
