So again another powerful and great chapter. I always wonder why when I read something of this nature, my own tears flow with those in the story. Thanks for the emotion and if only the world was as you discribe and we can hope that it will be.
Ok, I've read the first 16 chapters. While I have kept reading because I like the story, I am really struggling with the grammatical and word errors. I find it hard to believe that what I have read has been proofread. I have a long way to go, and I know other spin-offs have also been started. I just hope that the quality of the finished product improves.
Just started reading your story and actually am into chapter 2, I'm sure I'll be doing a lot of reading the next week to get caught up. All in all the writing is well done and your style is enjoyable. I would suggest someone proof reading. In Chapter 2 you used "memorized" (I think) when you meant to use "mesmerized." You also used "feel" for "fell." Minor proof-reading things, but would really improve the writing.
While I don't want to believe you'l knock off Trev and Sean, you left us believing.... As far as Skalla's comment, all police agencies at some time are clumsy and inefficient, but as already pointed out this is a work of fiction, well written with great research, but still fiction, and some is meant to keep us readers on the edge of our seat and coming back. Another great chapter....
Very enjoyable story. Love the mystery. The only comment and this is not necessarily your issue, there are two of you authors currently writing stories and you both have named the Cold Case. Just presents a bit of confusion for those of us reading both.

While I really like the story line, I am going to guess that English is not necessarily your first language. And for me that became problematic. I had to stop reading the chapter about half way through it as the sentence structures were very obviously "translation" and not in good gramatic format. I appreciate you have editors, but are they first language English speaker / writers? Perhaps if you are going to present your stories in English, that would be helpful. Again, I like the story line and would come back to read it with some polishing.
So I just finished reading chapter 12. In all, I am enjoying the story, however I was very surprised to learn that James is an 8th grader. I thought he was in 2nd or 3rd the way Jim was treating him and some of the dialogue. Nick I think is 3rd grade and his father is still dressing him... I thought he was like kindergarten. Please mature up your characters to be their ages.
hummmmmm? what are this kids going to do now. Joel and Lisa almost stir the hornets to bring out their stingers, now Tervor and Shane? Have to wait to see. Thanks for the chapter.
I just finished reading all the Naptown Tales, and while not necessary to reading and enjoying Legacy, sure gave complete backstory to this current tale. The twist and turns, and Cliff is still part of the tale. Enjoy Legacy, but take the time to go back and read the rest of the story.
I too want to welcome you back. While I know you've been adding to "Paternity" we have missed you here with "Odyssey." I wondered was mischief Conway would bring to the table and wait for his keelhauling in a future chapter .
Good to see Shane reconnecting with family and friends. Argo Case -- Nut Case? While I know the book will need to come to a conclusion sometime, there are still a bunch of loose ends to weave in to the fabric. Don't want the story to unravel. And that I sure hope you go on to write write write.
anticipation is making us wait. While I missed my weekly fix, and I went into total withdrawal and the DTs, I guess I will make it another week, with the shakes. . I just hope when you have finished this epic you will start in on the next.
So there was an update made to a chapter from 12 months ago, but we've been waiting 8 for the next chapter, We all want to know what happens next with Blake and Haze? Please?
I really really enjoy your writing and your story lines, but I want to strongly recommend you get an editor. There are numerous errors. At least for me while distracting, I'm figuring out what you mean and get by the, but a good editor or two to check spellings, words and grammar would really improve the quality.
Still under the weather? If you're in the USA you prob. under snow, but then if you're in Australia, you could be floating away in flood waters. Seriously, take care of yourself and listen to the doc.
