The first I ever heard of or saw Nathan Lane was in "Birdcage". One of my freinds, a wife of a very close friend of mine, surprised me with a copy of it and said that she KNEW that I would love it Perhaps she knew more than I was willing to come out with. idk But when Nathan tries to drive that car.... *classic* flaming!! This is only *one* of my favorites! "Beautiful Thing" and "You Are Not Alone" rank way up there on my list.

oopsies MikeL. I was brought up to always refer to (adult male) as:Sir or Mister. And for the feminine sex it was Maam Miss or Misses. We weren't all brought up with the same social structures. I read a *letter to the editor* recently in my local paper where an elderly woman said she was *outraged* because a waiter (server) referred to her and her companions as "young ladies". She stated that her age demanded respect. "I am not a girl. I am not a young lady." Whatever! I totally respect your feelings MikeL, and that is hard and fast! I am having a problem here because I abhor lack of respect for other people! And somewhere in there is my upbringing fighting with what is now acceptable in our society! I don't give a rat's ass what is now accepted as *cool* or *acceptable*! What I care about right now is that all of us need to start showing more respect towards each other! And you know that I love you--MikeL!

In the homophobic world that I find myself surrounded by, anonymity is paramount! I googled *phana14* a while back and was led immediately to my profile page including posts. That got my attention! To answer the question, I'm with Mikiti. And Lacey and MikeL said it best--one doesn't want strangers to come aknockin'.
