'A rose by any other name.....' heh From the information you've already thrown out and then putting two and two together---hmmm--I see big problems down the pike, Nephy. There are definitely at least two ways to look at this. First in my mind would be to stick with the program you already have going and not throw it all away (all of the advances). For sure not EVERYTHING River has tried has worked, but look at the fantastic improvement they have shown so far! Secondly, I can see where Silver is having some serious psychological issues by being held back from GOING back. On that thought train, perhaps a controlled *slide* every so often could help. idk I'm approaching this story with noodle-nerves, but a strong determination to witness all of it, come hell or high water! Oh Jeez! I'm SO embarrassed! I just (well-earlier) read the whole story! I couldn't let it go! And since I didn't know that there was a thread---DAMN! Enquiring minds indeed! I'm finding something hard to believe here---I created that damn crab out in my work shop! Physically! Took the pics and used windows paint to bring it to LIFE! And now I cannot even scan in a 3x5 and present it. Maybe it's the 'old' against the 'new'. idk The upside is possibly the end of my normal life. I've decided to just stop the whole closet thing here on GA-within a couple of days I'll have a current pic here. Scares me, somewhat. I don't have a whole lot of time left to practice paint(ing). At first I wondered how I could have been so far off in expecting Ash's father to be a raving ass--heh--you didn't let me down, did you? While I'm sure that the relationship (oh yes, it's there) CAN work, I have to wonder how they will get past all of the obstacles that are sure to rear their ugly heads. For one, I'm sure that now Josh is going to be out of work. How will they survive that? Thank you, Nephy.

Ahaa...much better! Ash is alive! But I hope he changes his mind about keeping secret the names of the dirtbags who assaulted him. Josh is right-you can't let people get away with doing things such as this. It will only escalate. You're making me think, Nephy. I haven't really run across a situation like this before, I don't believe. Off the bat it appears to be a lose/lose situation. If Josh doesn't get into some serious trouble before this is over..... And as usual Nephy, you 'painted' a gorgeous picture in the cemetery! Not just your description of lights and reflections of lights, but by using an old man in a cemetery kneeling over what was probably his wife's grave, preparing to place flowers on it, you made a truly three-dimensional portrait of 'love' without using a stereotype (boy-girl etc). A great begining! Thanks, Nephy.

I am so sad that no one has seen this, Nephy. So sad. This is such an exciting story, with just enough hanky stuff for the macho types to not be ashamed to show emotion---aww "I" liked it Nephy! Right to the end when all of my skin-hair was standing up amongst those goose bumps! "Red Gold" Is just as much a favorite of mine as any of the rest of your stories!
