Hi HJ, My first 11 years were spent in the mountains of south-central Ky. I enjoyed everything that you are enjoying plus: snakes, katydids, frogs, bats, toads---it just dosen't end, huh? But I also came away with an almost fanatical LOVE of the outdoors, and the fewer people around, so much the better! Oh! Also a love for hotdogs cooked on a stick over an open fire until the skin is black! Then the same stick would be used to catch marshmallows on fire. When the treat is ready to drop to the ground, you simply blow out the fire, let it cool a few seconds and *yummy*! Thanks, HJ.

Hey scotchirish87, Some years ago I went with a group of 13yo boys to a baseball tournament in Georgetown. Somewhere between there and Austin there are underground caverns located directly under the interstate. Apparently when the government bought the property to build the highway, they didn't buy the land underneath it past a certain point, so the original owner(s) created an money maker out of it. I was just curious as to whether you knew about it or not. And thanks for your answer.

I have lived an almost enchanted life for a beggar boy. Things just happened to work out for me. And I know that I am very fortunate. But I have no idea what it would be like to grow up in a *city* enviroment! I am very much asking WHAT is so great about the *city*?

What DO you or WOULD you prefer to be surrounded by? Forests or concrete? Perhaps both! hmmm And please explain why. I prefer forests because that is the situation in which I grew up. I love the outdoor arena. Daytime-nighttime. It makes no difference in the forest. I have never lived in a *big* city. With all of the communication advances since I was a kid, can I not stay in the country and still live in *touch* with mainstream city life? What is so attractive about living in a large metropolis?

I didn't see anyone mention *desktop shortcuts*. Isn't this a form of bookmarking? When I have to leave a story before finishing it I simply create (with two quick clicks) a shortcut. Then when I come home amd pw back in all I have to do is click/click and I'm right back to where I was when I stopped. However, if I want to KEEP it, I use favorites. Hmmmm. I wonder if I can shortcut favorites....?

OK! It won't surprise too many that phana14 responds to THIS one! You will have to force the author's name and story title out of me, because I don't think admin wants to hear any more out of me, but not too long ago I read a story where, in one chapter alone a young boy is repeatedly beaten, raped (gang) and tortured. I screamed to the HEAVENS about it! Yes, there was a generic warning at the begining of this story. And yes, I read it. But nowhere in the WORLD could I have prepared myself for what I read--and then it was already too late. Admin knows this. I went BALLISTIC! That author had a MORAL obligation to omit that material, or at the least tone it WAY the hell down! His use of psysical, mental and sexual assault was horrendous! Actually, I believe my original description was *gratutious use*. Well Comicality, you asked and I answered. I will never, EVER get over that chapter! Not EVER!!! So! I guess I'll be taking another warning--whatever! DAVE

I wouldn't worry about the details too much. There are a TON of you guys that I haven't gotten around to yet, but believe me, I will! Both Nephy and Comsie pretty much write *B* style, and I love both of them to death. But recently I read a story by Nephylim in which she gave NO description of the characters at all. I didn't realize it until she pointed it out. Why? Because I was so INTO the story that * I* combed the blond wavy hair, *I* stared into those deep blue pools of reflective love. I didn't need Neph to dress anyone in that story! *I* dressed them ALL, and yeah, I undressed some of them too. My point is this--You write in whatever style YOU want to and trust US to take it from there. p And WHATEVER you guys do, please don't stop writing!

They actually look like they are red/white/blue and that would make sense, considering the holiday. I came to this conclusion after a VERY, VERY CLOSE exam of that particular area of his anatomy!
