    Gravity

Excellent! Lively and constantly moving forward-I liked this very much! If you were serious about there being a connection twixt the title and the story, I could only join gravity/(pizza)planet. meh I have some catching up to do with you, huh? Great story, Dark! Thanks.
  2. I found this to be a light-hearted and humorous 'quickie'', Dark. It was rather unique in that the apparently non-gay son is *fixing up* his 'bi' dad with a guy. Thanks.
  3. 'Silver buckle on the wrist band'. hmmm And that makes Silver remember that he is 'Matthew'. hmmm ALTHOUGH I was fully expecting a formal dance in this chapter-I SUPPOSE that I can wait. I love that David gave his posthumous 'blessing' on, well, what I took to be Matt and Asher's developing relationship. Tony is scaring the hell out of me while Ariel is crying *happy-tears*. And to top it off, Ariel is going to select the dancing outfits! This is so close to an overload for me. Is it possible that Silver and Ariel have met in the past? Because I get a feeling..... So we come to this, finally. River seems to be sliding down the slippery slope of memory. I pray this is just an oversite on someone's part. Finally, Nephy, I must tell you that this was a very well rounded chapter, in that we touched on most everyone. Thanks, you. think dance

    Over the Precipice

So, I take it that while the auntie is ok with Alex having a boyfriend, the 'boyfriend' isn't ok with it? You caught me off guard here, Dark. There wasn't anything wrong with the story-I just expcted the usual ending where they all live happily ever after. Maybe you were thinking that Dallas was carrying too much baggage for Alex to handle? idk Anyway-this was a good story. Thanks.
  5. Did that voice say "...that would be one wet p...."? :lmao:

    The Nanny

What a lovely story! I especially liked how you didn't overburden us with space jabberwocky. You used just enough to explain the story line-to give us a 'why' this was happening. Super! The little people just made the story that much more fun to read! You haven't heard the last from me, Dark. Thank you for this piece of heaven.
  7. Hope you're having another swim party! This time I'LL bring the camera! Happy Birthday, Ag.
  8. between the lines, lacey. between the lines. love comes in all manner of shapes and sizes-you know that. where this boy came from should have absolutely zero bearing on who he is. wouldn't it be so wonderful if we never questioned 'where from'? I have watched your posts and blogs for over a year, and I have the utmost respect for you. I just got caught off-guard on this one. Please don't feel animosity toward me-I'm on your side.

    When the Wall Fell

Please don't take offense at this-but my reaction to this story is "cute". I mean that in a most positive way. I loved how you mixed what seemed to be a partial autobio with some light fantasy. One 'dark' and one 'light'. (A cloudy begining and a happy-light- ending!) CUTE!! Thanks, Dark. ps: I owe you a pos rep--I'm out.
  10. Cute! Cute as the dickens! You little devil, you!
  11. Ricky, You scared the hell out of me with the way you wrote that status update. We won't go into that at the moment though. Oh! Thank heavens (?)!!! You are such a special person, John. I have no idea how you find so much room in that heart of yours. Hugs I am soooo happy right now! sniffle

    Chapter 1

I'm at a loss here, Andy. I can't seem to settle on what I consider the best word to describe the story. It is wonderful, for one. Sweet. Loving. Giving. I am going to settle on "warm"! If more people had this warmth..... Thank you Sara! Qh, btw--Thanks, Andy! It is truly a wonderful story.
  13. I had totally forgotten about Silver's medicine. The first thing that came to my mind was a mechanical malfunction in his brain-caused by striking the pavement after being tossed from the car. I can't wait for his next dance, Nephy! He's going to bring the house down!!! Thanks.
  14. Only a heart made of frozen stone could keep from falling deeply in love with each of our trio--equally.You are as good at drawing warm and happy pictures as you are at bringing shivers in a cold and dark pit. You've made me wonder something: If word has gotten out so fast regarding Silver's performances, uh, isn't it just possible that someone from his 'former' life, his 'bad' life, might show up? Thanks Nephy.
  15. Well now-- I'm really tired right now Nephy, but after today I can visit on the thread because I am all caught up! I can't remember the last time that I didn't even go outdoors during the daylight hours. You and your are to blame. You're special, alright. Thanks!
  16. And just when I thought that you had used up your myriad ways of making rain, you run laughing into the forest. (I am sure of it) When I realized that you were serious about sending Silver back to what I considered to be Hell, considering his past, I was extremely upset. I asked myself- "Why is she DOING this?" Now I am learning why. Nephy, the darkness of this story is minuscule to the brightness of your talent! You scare us to death and breathe life (real life) back into us. Thanks so much, you!
  17. "Greater love hath no man than....." Actually I don't feel the need at this moment to say anything more. except this
  18. WOW! Thanks, Nephy!
  19. Well if that wasn't the sweetest-again! At the begining of this chapter I really thought that Silver had in fact come 'home'. It was looking more and more as if he realized that there was no possibility that he and River could ever make a go of it. I have to admit that I had accepted this. Especially when he was comforted by 'Ariel'/Asher. But the conversation between the two of them at the end told me otherwise. Nephy, I've constantly been hounded here with what you said as a blurb of some sort, If I am allowed to paraphrase you-"They both find a new man". I took that litterally to mean that they were not going to be together at the end of the story. Now I dont feel that way at all! I think that what you were saying is that BOTH of them have almost insurmountable hurdles, and unless they can make a high enough leap, they're stuck where they are. Well, I listened to Asher, with an open mind. Great chapter and a stupendous story, Nephy! And now---back to the dancing!
  20. Oh My God, Nephy! Where in the HELL are you going to take us? When you introduced Ariel in the last chapter something just felt *right* about him-I have no idea how to explain it. And now our boy has a guardian angel. That is so sweet. I don't WANT to say this, but given Silver's innocence, how long before someone begins to abuse it? *shudder* Also, I'm more than a little concerned about how easily Silver slipped back into this 'life'. Is this going to be the FINAL end of his relationship with River? I'm thinking 'probably not' since he just fell out moaning over him. I've got a lot of hope here, Nephy! Thanks.
  21. heh heh heh I'm chuckling because you haven't hurt Silver yet, and we all know that it's just a matter of time. By using 'Matthew' as his name he in leaving a trail of crumbs for River/Sam. cool. Could he POSSIBLY have done this consciously?
  22. Wow! Ya think just maaaaybe a blind man was just given the gift of sight? idk I gotta give Sam a freaking gold medal in the patience dept. Jeeez! I see here that the next chapter is titled "Going Home". Let me take a wild guess at WHO is going 'home' and WHERE 'home' is-nah, make me work for it Nephy! And thanks! It's STILL a fantastic story!
  23. Sooooo close to happiness! And the idiot doesn't have the sense to tell Silver the ONE THING that he needed to hear. That as of tonight they would be together forever. (Well, I know it wasn't a 'done deal' yet, but it could have been.) DAMN!! By-the-by Nephy, you've slipped a lot of things by me over time, but NOT this one: "Fortunately I manage to hold in the explosion. Sometimes my training comes in handy." Nice try. It's rather obvious to me at this point that the person needing therapy the most is therapist. I'm giving River one more time to get his act together before I allow Sam to bring his service weapon home from work! Hugs, Nephy.
  24. Yo...Nephy! Don't even start! Two 'bad' chapters to go and the next one is one of them. I have to admit that you scared the hell out of me there in the Bennett's kitchen. I was thinking, "Here we go again!". But it looks as if things aren't too bad now........except......there is a meeting about to happen in the garden...yes? Oh God!! Neeeeephy. Please don't.
