Yes yes! I have something to say about this wonderful story! The way that you left us Nephy, is with such anticipation as to what happens next? I can hardly wait for Ariel and (oh hell-you know).. I was so afraid of what was going to happen during the 'assessment'. What a wonderful way you handled that. What a lovely funeral, Nephy. I had no clue as to where you were going to lead their relationship but I see I needn't have worried. Quite frankly I had all but given up on River-he just didn't seem to WANT to make things work out. You must remember that you leave us only one chapter in which to do something nice for our three remaining dangling part...well, kids; Ariel, Benjamin Skye and Jake. Thanks, Nephy!

This chapter goes into my 'book' as one of the best all-around things that you have written, Nephy! It comes near the end of the story and I think your timing is absolutely perfect. What it tells me is that though Silver has a very long road ahead of him, that road is ever so much shorter because of how strong a person he truly is. I am positive that very few could have overcome (assuming he makes a full recovery) the horrors that he has witnessed on himself and others. Just thinking along those lines makes me both sad AND happy-happy of course for how far he has come. What a 'beauty' you are, Nephy! Thank you.

Hehehe So-now you have me wondering. Is Sar something like a homeless advocate/shelter provider? I have to tell you Nephy-this chapter (4) made me think quite a bit about your relationship with that other world. There is a quote in my notes that was so funny! " 'Oh my God I am going to tear out all my hair if it doesn't stop'." So now! Down to where Nephy is going to start playing with her characters. I'm wondering about 'Pixie', hmm? Hey Andy. You and your 'girls' should join minds more often! The little background aside about Will and David added tremendously to my enjoyment of this story. I also have been curious (and still am) about David. How did he "get" into Will's life? Will says/thinks that he 'killed' David. Did he? Or is he speaking metaphorically re: David's death? What a fantastic method to use! Even if we weren't speaking of using readers, and the author submitted the asides-WOW! But yeah, use all the help you can get! Yay! I love it! Not enough people reading "Purpose"? Screw the rest!! SOME of us are truly and actually enjoying the hell out of this story! Thanks so much for this chapter, Neph! (36) As I said over 'there' you have given Silver a whole new mental wardrobe. His mind is SO much more in touch with himself than River's is at the moment, and I really think that this is a good thing. I feel that Silver will be making the major calls for a bit. Answering questions here, boss! River should definitely talk to Silver-but by no means should he make Silver feel uncomfortable about vocalizing his feelings regarding Ash and/or the others! Big no-no! River can explain to Silver that he (River) is uncomfortable about it-but make him (Silver) feel as if that doesn't matter nearly so much as Silver's need to express himself. Silver should definitely listen-with his ears. (sorry) There is no way for me to answer the next question unless to say that they BOTH need to listen to EACH OTHER! And as for the final question: There is every reason in the universe for River to attend the funeral for Ash (sobs)! I think that it would be a MAJOR REPAIR in the rend that has so far been evident since their reunion. Silver is going to need someone at that time-and it damn well better be River! (or Ariel) !!!! What a wonderful and eye-opening chapter this is, Nephy. River is in the midst of a cram course on feelings, it seems, and he keeps fumbling his words and mixing up his head right and left. Poor thing is SO unsure of himself at this point. You have written Silver into a position where he is capable of taking complete control at some point in the near future, and that is not necessarily an impossible situation, considering how far he has come in the last few chapters. It's going fantastic at the moment (if one discounts the 'death-drums' in the background. Thanks, Nephy!
