Well now! Something to sink our teeth into! That cat is something else, Nephy! I can see why you are so excited about this little 'clan'. They are providing your wonderfully bent/twisted mind an outlet-a chance to show a little more wackiness, if you will, ---not that you need any. (encouragement, that is)! Please don't get me wrong though. It is obvious already that the potential for violence is just barely under the surface. Meanwhile. I suppose I will content myself with patiently waiting for the other characters to 'expose' themselves. Good show, Nephy! Thanks!

This chapter really helped me with the first one. I read them together this time and things were easier to understand. I think I'm already begining to see some of the humor you warned us of. (Yeah, I know, it can't be ALL fun and games, can it?) p Thanks, Nephy. I just know I'm going to like this!
-
Predictable? PREDICTABLE?? :lmao: You are anything BUT that!! I'm so sorry about your pain, Nephy. Let's look at the larger picture, k?

I'm feeling so sad right now. I really like the advice that Cia gave you-rely on your family. Even though they may need you for financial support, you guys need each other as a family for hugs and leaning-posts. I really wish that I could be there for you right now. Nephy. You are the 'POST'! You have been that for all of your family's years! At some point perhaps, Ef may not be able to be in the 'latest' togs. Awww hell, Nephy! I know of no one with a more indomitable spirit than you have shown us here on GA. Whatever it takes to survive-you have it. Jeeze!! I'm quite lost here. But I can still find a few of these for you.... Huggs X.

phana14 replied to Johnathan Colourfield's topic in Promoted Author Discussion Forum
There is an old saying that I have heard a time or two over the years: "Loose Lips Sink Ships" I have to wonder how many 'Sailors' we have lost to you! *scratches head* :lmao: Seriously, Nephy, congratulations! It is a feat and not a surprise-not to me!! -
[Nephylim] Enigma II - Fighting the Man

I think that chapter 35 is the *strongest* one yet, in this story, Nephy. I'm not referring to action or even emotional outbursts-I mean for it's depth. It is RAW! It shows two people who have done a tremendous amount of thinking/soul-searching and are quite near the edge of understanding THEMSELVES, and now they are discovering that it is MUCH easier to understand the other person's feelings when they first can come to grips with who/what THEY are. I think that this is going to be the pivotal chapter for the story. Just my opinion, mind you! I realize that you still have your hands and mind full sorting out Ben etc, but I just can't see anything else top this chapter for importance to the story. This was fantastic! Hugs! Thank you, Nephy. -
I'm having trouble letting Ash go, Nephy. Don't misunderstand me, please, because I DO understand that he is 'gone'. I am just having a hard time letting him go. This is a very eye/heart-opening chapter, Nephy I'll say more in the forum. Thanks so much, Neph!

Oh my! Another "Nephylim" story?? heh (There really IS a 'God') This is starting out really interestingly, Nephy! I haven't actually started my 'notes' for this story yet--but--Glory/werewolf rover/your 'lil boy cat likes warm fires and sheepskin rugs??? I am SO overwhelmed! Bring it ON! Hugs.
-
Just when I was considering that Nephy was drying up------ , I read the rest of the story. This one looks to be a keeper, you! Tell me more, please? I love the idea of a partial vamp/were/otherworldly. Wait! Let me settle down. Already there is a 'connection' with these two. You! I am on edge here! Thanks for the new story Nephy! hugs Although I already see imprints of pain and other horror, , I know the price we have to pay for your attention to our whining!

I don't know who you are. I don't know (yet) what the story is all about. But don't be afraid of those hiding in the background, waiting and wanting to find out. Welcome.

A lovely few moments of feeling refreshed. Thanks, Ricky! And I swear to you that this is true: Just this morning I noticed something attached to my refrigerator door under one of those magnetic thingies-It was your "Not a throw-away boy" poem. I was shocked that it was still there after I went through the house like Sherman went through Georgia getting rid of anything having to do with 'gay'! (I wasn't supposed to be here even now) Doctors 'bite the big one'! I'm SO lame! When I clicked on "Who's In Charge" I thought to myself:"Ricky does poetry? Well shoooot me! My face is red!! You keep writing whatever you want to and I'll keep reading GA stories. There! Thanks again, Ricky.

Chapter 34 - Lost and Found
phana14 commented on Nephylim's story chapter in Chapter 34 - Lost and Found
I had the most wonderful suprise moments ago, Nephy! I was able to 'see' Ariel in the gallery, and then notice that this chapter was up. I don't know how you're going to end this, but I just want Ariel to find-never mind-old stuff again. I wish River and Silver the best. -
Soooo..... how would one find this tantalizing story? hummmmm? I've looked everywhere!! And maybe I can look not too far for a close resemblance to your MC. Imagine that. Give it to us, Nephy!

[Nephylim] Enigma II - Fighting the Man
phana14 replied to Nephylim's topic in Promoted Author Discussion Forum
Barely into the start of this chapter you had in this order: a blank/stunned look, a knife protruding and Ariel screaming. You'll never know just how close I came to hitting the 'back' key. I think that the only reason I didn't do it was that I couldn't SEE it for a few moments. You! Speaking of knives-you really know how to twist them, as I was POSITIVE that you were going to allow Asher to live Sometimes I could just......dammit, Nephy! I just looked down at some notes and saw the title of ch. 33. Hell, that should have told us right from the get-go. I am truly looking forward to seeing how you handle River as he begins to find out about Asher. Jealousy? Anger? Distrust? Hmmmmm. Also, I see a little something that could/maybe develop between Ariel and Jake--and don't start that thing about Jake being *straight*! I'm not buying it! (he could/maybe be bi)? -
Chapter 33 - Love Lost And Love Found
phana14 commented on Nephylim's story chapter in Chapter 33 - Love Lost And Love Found
OMG! I had to jump back to the end of 32 to fill in the blanks almost as soon as I started 33. Jesus, Nephy! My first impression was that the knife was embedded in Ariel, and THAT just wouldn't do-nosiree bob! I've got more to say but it'll be in the story thread. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!! -
Only just now-sorry. But I had someone else on my mind! Well-two of you, actually.

Did I really see "The End" at the bottom of (Kevin's?) review? Neeeeephy! So! Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine that I would find myself over in Paul Bently's corner! Never! Yet here I am. It is really nice that he and Morgan had a reconciliation. What did Morgan say to Cory at the fireplace, Nephy? It seemed to brighten Cory's world up so! If I sound lost it's because I am. But now I'm just remembering a prayer for him, and maybe they DO get answered after all. Thanks, Nephy.

This is a wonderful story, John! You kept my head spinning trying to guess which of the three candidates held the honors. At first I wanted it to be Sean, but maybe that was pity on my part. idk Actually, I WANTED it to be Craig, but you didn't place him at the party: and he DID have to study. I'm going to add this one to my *sweet* list, ok? Thanks, John. A great job!
-
OOOOH! I get to be first! I just realized that I am using notes that are at best "dysfunctional"! crap! FROM the notes, I see "scabby-extremely funny!" I shall have to go back to review the story. Mike Johnson sounds SO much like someone that I have met! "I'm as tired as a hooker in the White House." :lmao: You are SO scandalous!!! Thanks for the story, Jwolf. It was fantastic!
-
I owe you a pos. (ran out-sorry ). (but I made a note!). Jwolf: There is so damn much humor in this story that I just kept on laughing! Thanks! I'm headed over to the thread now.
-
Why not post on all of them? An excellent story, you! Does this mean that the comicfan is into the *dark* world? I hope so! Jonas is in for an experience of his young life if you continue this as a full-blown story! Carry on, I say! (I'm rather excited, as you can probably tell) Thanks for the story, comicfan.

Strange Family, Unusual Lovers, and Other Jobs
phana14 commented on comicfan's story chapter in Strange Family, Unusual Lovers, and Other Jobs
So far this is probably the closest any author in this 'series' has come to identifying their story with the theme. WOW! I'll explain on your thread, ok? Thank you.
