  1. I love sex and candy!! ...the song's decent too "Homecoming Queen" - Hinder
  2. Oh my gosh! I hit these restrictions so often! You did describe their hair colour. I clearly remember and have always kept in mind their colours. I also remember thinking it slightly odd that all three had different colours and that they actually ranged from black to blonde! (sounds like me on a wild month ) Ohh yeah, I'm sure we'd all hate seeing that one! LOL, seriously though, I get where you're coming from Kashka!!! **waves excitedly** I agree, trying to talk someone into cheating on your brother is a pretty cruddy thing to do Have a fantastic day everyone and take care! -Kevin
  3. we'll miss you, but I'm sure we're all unanimous in wishing you a safe and enjoyable excursion! True, but we already know who the "black sheep" of the family is At least you know when you'll be back again
  4. I had considered she and Lump to be peripheral enough to count. After all she is directly involved with the band. I suppose it's fairly subjective though.
  5. I just read this story! And WOW!!! Totally awesome! Way to go, Viv!
  6. **blushes profusely** Well, I didn't notice my mistake, nor did I notice your correction. I read it as "you've never seen". LOL, I really don't speak or write that way.
  7. Hi everyone, October 11th is National Coming Out day in the U.S. So happy Coming Out Day everyone!!! Today marks a special day for me. Last year on Coming Out Day I made it a point to attend a couple of gay social functions. Thus, today marks the anniversary of my friendship with quite a few important people in my life as well as symbolizing the beginning of my integration into gay life in my new city It also happens to be the birthday of a very dear friend childhood friend, who not only happens to be a lesbian but is also the first person I ever came out too. So anyway, it's a special day for me, and I hope you guys all enjoyed it as well Take care and have a fantastic fabulous day! -Kevin
  8. Well obviously you mean your "real life" family, but I think I speak for the others when I say that the "family" in the gay sense, particularly us , have missed you and are glad you're home -Kevin
  9. purely by coincidence I was/am listening to the same song again! But in the spirit of suggesting something new, I'll go with a different song I've recently become re-addicted to: "Heaven Forbid" by The Fray.
  10. WOW! What an awesome and beautiful story! I really admire your attitude to life too! Hmm, I think I made the rules for this thread, and I most definitely don't mind at all! I'm assuming you're referring to the request to post five things you're grateful about? Well I've already broken that one myself (prior to this time ), and that was just a general guideline. Certainly the spirit is about simply expressing gratitude, and I think your post did that wonderfully -Kevin
  11. or so perceptive that you're ahead of your time
  12. Nah, he's gay I thought he was adorable and I loved his personality and my gaydar was going off big time, so I did a little "cyber stalking" (checked out his youtube profile, myspace, and blogs) All evidence seems to indicate that he's gay, lots of gay friends, pics of cute guys, "gay" interests and personality, lack of an "orientation" on his myspace despite the other standard info being there, plus he just seems really gay to me. So I'd bet my gaydar on him being gay, but perhaps/probably not "out". On a side note he seems to be having a rough time right now which makes me really sad Well I think you're terrific just the way you are, Leo! Anyway, I found the clip amusing. I'm very glad that I can't get lost! I have a GPS, so whenever I go off course 'Margaret', just fusses at me and tells me where to turn until we're back on our way Actually I didn't really think he looked like Seth at all, and he definitely didn't have what I imagined to be Seth's personality. -Kevin
  13. Dude! That does look awesome! I'm completely unfamiliar with the musical, but it looks fantastic! I think I will go watch it! I was thinking that On a side note, I keep forgetting what a really good actor Johnny Depp truly is. He's gotten so much over-exposure with Pirates of the Caribbean recently that it's easy to get tired of him. However, he really is excellent, and amazingly enough does disappear into his roles despite the notoriety. I mean I really wasn't sitting there thinking "So Capt. Jack Sparrow is a barber..." Thanks for the heads up, Adrian. I definitely plan on adding this to my movies-to-watch list! -Kevin
  14. Okay, I wanna try it now!! WOW! I bet so!! I'd love to see the Black Forest! ohh, which one ya going to? I've never used one, but I've received them. They are nifty. I'm grateful for: 1) Getting a promotion at work! Total surprise! I just got there and they were like "Here's the person under you. Train them" (this is a good thing because I get a lot more money ) 2) Getting health insurance! Another pleasant surprise! They kept talking about the paperwork going through, but it finally did today 3) Getting the day off I asked for I'm going to a party 4) Having a very productive day businesswise (unrelated to the above) I was very fortunate today 5) Cheese It's just that good!
  15. **looks around nervously** hehe, I'll bite. No, I'm about 99% positive I've never watched an episode of either. Like I said, I only know of them from reading Entertainment Weekly and catching info in conversation (or forums!). Well I don't watch TV at all. In fact I don't really have it. I mean I have a tv, but it doesn't get a single station (I don't have cable, satellite, or even a working antenna). I just use it for watching movies. The internet option is very viable though! I was super excited to recently discover the rash of networks releasing shows online! As a result I actually do watch the new series Back to You online every week. The first several seasons of Frasier and Everybody Loves Raymond (didn't see the later seasons) were the last TV shows I watched before I went off to college and cut TV out of my life As a result I was really pleased to discover that there was a new show featuring two of my favourite comedy actors! I strongly suspect I would like House, Hugh Laurie is another of my favourite actors. In fact I've never not liked a show he was in. -Kevin
  16. LOL, well certainly cults thrive on strong, identicle unity of belief. Unity of belief is of course aided by a lack of differing opinions and a general isolation. Isolation is obviously facilitated by having everyone live together in little housing camps and not interact much with the outside world. ...so yeah maybe be related I don't have any particular affection for the WBC, but I did think the program was a bit overly negative of religions in general. I personally agreed with most of Mr. Allen's moral beliefs, but differed in regards to his theological beliefs. Which is of course irrelevant except that I thought it presented a too polarized view of things. He also seemed a bit like he was gunning to be the next Michael Moore, which is purely an observation on my part and devoid of any positive or negative value. Just my thoughts Take care all and have a great day! Kevin P.S. Lily's cool!
  17. Hehe, I was going point that out myself but he beat me to it Naturally I never make mistakes! **wonders if CJ recalls the recent embarrassing name mix up that I caused in one of the private forums** -Kevin
  18. Well that's why I called it "INSTINCT-er", because I was only including those characters and not the general cast
  19. Me, make a bad joke? Nevah! Blah, I don't really like them. Hmm, I never seen House (or Grey's Anatomy or Scrubs), but I seem to remember seeing the cast in an issue of Entertainment Weekly. Is he the prettyish, blondish guy? I remember there was one of them I thought was really adorable. Might have been that one.
  20. I wanna hear that! I'm gonna check it. I love Anna Nalick! Ohh, I love Nirvana too! I'm listening to 1973 by James Blunt
  21. WOOO HOOO!! That's awesome! I'm celebrating getting a promotion at work today
  22. That sounds like a very good idea. That sounds like a bad idea to me. He'd probably just hurt her feelings and she'd out him to get even. Another winner! I'm actually thinking that what's going to happen is that he'll nervously meet her and either charm or, or just be honest or whatever, and explain that he's in love with Chase. Then I suspect she'll like him or feel sorry for him and decide to just forget the whole thing. A secondary thing I see happening, and it could even happen with my above assumption in place if it were orchestrated in such a way as to allow for misunderstandings, is Chase somehow walking in and misunderstanding the whole thing and getting really angry or hurt. Perhaps for instance Brandon and Charity will talk, work things out, and she'll say "OK, I can see you're really in love with him and I understand. How about just one kiss though?" <enter Chase> Just my wild speculation though, but in any case I'm thinking this is going to cause a strain between Chase and Brandon. -Kevin
  23. Well right now Chase is winning with 4 votes and everyone else has 1! Looks like it's gonna be a close race Actually, I think the chapter in which Jon called gays promiscuous and insinuated that Brandon would be promiscuous and Eric defended him made me like him a lot more. I am surprised Brandon doesn't have more votes though. I was expecting him and Chase to get nearly all the votes (with Helen a somewhat distant 3rd). Looks like I'm going to be proven incorrect! So CJ, who is YOUR favourite? (Or is that like asking a parent to pick between their children? ) -Kevin
  24. AWESOME! I'm so GLAAD he did this!
