  1. WITH sex appeal? Personally I found him to be remarkably unattractive. I haven't seen the movie, and don't intend to. I get that other people like that kind of humour but it's total "trainwreck" type of stuff and I really DO want to look away in situations like that. It's exactly the kind of stuff that does get on my nerves. Silly witty/clever (like Robin Williams) I like. Silly just plain weird (like "Phobe" on Friends or any other stock ditz/freak) I also like. Silly obnoxious (this kind of stuff, Will Ferrel (AKA the most annoying person on the face of the earth), Adam Sandler) I HATE, totally turns my stomach. Still I'm glad other people watched it and enjoyed it. I know what you mean about feeling old based one what's happening with the people from high school. All my old classmates are getting married or having babies too. It's okay though; we can stay young and live forever...or die trying Anyway have an awesome day and take care Kevin
  2. Welcome Lustful_Orcs!! It's great to have you here! I love your attitude on feedback! I'm sure you'll make a great addition to the GA family! Have an awesome day and take care! Kevin

  4. WOOO HOOO!! LOL see, CJ, you got around the watchful EYE of a pirate, but you still couldn't escape detection! Congrats! I think Matty summed it all up perfectly! 2,000 in 9 months is indeed quite a feat and GA is definitely much richer for your presence! have an awesome day! I can't wait to see the next 2,000 either! (hehe, anyone want to start a pool for which day in December that'll be? ) -Kevin
  5. I voted for "Interesting Characters". I agree with everyone else in that all aspects are important in combining to make a good story; however, for me my favourite part of reading a story is the character development. I'll also be more inclined to tolerate weaknesses in the other areas if the characterization is very strong. Conversely I'll be more likely to grow weary with a story that's strong/fairly strong on the other points but contains two-dimensional characters. So yes, I think all aspects are important, but for my own enjoyment character development is paramount. Have a terrific day all! Kevin
  6. Good luck, Camy!!! Will we get to read the results? take care and have a great day! Kevin

    Why knotme?

YAY! Welcome to the world of blogging! I know EXACTLY what you mean about leaving names out, although for me it's my gay friends (that I am out to) that I'm worried about seeing it...Mostly because it feels weird to talk about someone (even if it's in a nice or neutral way) and then maybe having them see it. Using false names seems...sneaky to me, plus it's hard to keep track of so I usually don't do that. Being vague tends to be what I stray towards...but that gets...well vague VERY interesting about your name and symbol! Anyway glad to see you have a blog now! I can't wait to read more Have an awesome day! Kevin
  8. 2,000!!!!!! Way to go, Kitty!!! *cough* Speech! *cough*
  9. Hey CJ! First off welcome to the blog world!! I've always thought you should have a blog! Anyway as for DST I don't really like it that much, but I don't HATE it or anything either...I mostly just ignore it. As for adjusting schedules instead of clocks that makes sense to me; however, personally I strongly favour a "24 hour" world. I really hate that places close AT ALL. I'd quite like to be able to go to the dentist at 2am (well actually I never want to go to the dentist ), or see a movie at 5AM, or do my banking at 11PM or whatever. I just think everything ought to be 24 hours. Anyway I personally never know when the time changes anyway. Fortunately my clocks and cell phone do it automatically. I enjoyed this entry! Can't wait to read more! Have an awesome day! Kevin

    getting there

aww Tom, I'm so sorry I hope you feel better soon. Take care and all the best, Kevin
  21. That's not so bad though, CJ, I used to always mix up the order when I was a kid and first started using it. You could try thinking about it this way you want to LEAVE your hair in good CONDITION so use the conditioner last. When I was in my teens I used to help out on the family farm as a result I too have bought work boots at a feed store before. They do hold up! aww I'm so sorry, Michael. That must have been really scary, did they get all of it? Which type was it? take care YES! Definiely everyone use sunscreen! It's very important! Remember that some UV damage can STILL occur on a winter day or a general overcast day. You won't get a sunburn but your skin can still be damaged, so use sunscreen anytime you're going to be outdoors for long periods of time! Have an awesome day all! Kevin
