    Chapter 1

Neat art there at the beginning! And what a fun take of a "walk" on the wild side. The characters are quite captivating . . . I guess some people didn't care for the ending, but I could almost sorta see a longer story growing out of this which would include more denouement . . . idk. Anyways, fun stuff!

    Poem

This made me a little sad But I guess it's good that a poem gets people to feel something, right?

    Chapter 1

Jerry is a hoot I glanced over some other reviews . . . I think people look for different things in the stories they read. This is what I'd call a "slice of life" piece . . . it doesn't have a plot per say, but that's not the point of slice of life pieces. They are usually just little snippets of characters living their lives, for pleasure-reading purposes. It's done a lot in fanfiction, and sometimes in series that have already had their major stories take place. I believe these are characters you've introduced before? Anyways, that said, I found this a pleasurable read
  4. Bah! What happened to Puck? Well, I have to agree w/ Maria . . . I felt this was an easier read . . . or maybe it's just b/c you're drawing us deeper into your world with each installment. Kismet is an awesome character. hehe. Thanks for the fun read!

    Social Skills

That doesn't sound lame at all. In fact, that particular line is one of the ones that plays frequently in my head. I imagine it to be one of those super emotional moments . . . where the music would rise up in a movie, and everyone would get all choked up There is one chapter and one epilogue to go. And I'm not really excited about ending it-- in fact, I'm dragging my feet. This story has a lot of very personal stuff in it, and it's my first novel, so it will be very hard to say goodbye. Thank you so much for reading and reviewing
  6. So I said I'd write poetry when hell froze over, but limericks don't count, right? For Maria: There once was a gal named Maria Who always had tons of ideas She wrote many a story And deserves lots of glory To enjoy with a glass of sangria
  7. Hehe . . . sounds like quite a cast of characters. You can always throw 'em into a story to liven/lighten things up. I like 'borrowing' from real life when I write--there's so much there for inspiration
  8. Feelin' a bit of a connection with your characters I did miss Lucca, but I'm eager to see how your characters end up meeting/connecting w/ each other
  9. I'm pretty new, so I haven't read many anthos, but I'm gonna agree w/ Cia on this for my current favorite.
  10. 1. laptop 2. violin 3. ummm wow I'm really trying to think of a third that stands out among all the 'rest' . . . hm, I think I might have to go w/ grandmother's brooch as well. 'Cept mine's not gaudy

    Dare

I did worry that the 'episodes' would confuse people, but my 2 betas said to go ahead, so I guess it's one of those 'doesn't work for everyone' things. I'd never drag someone along w/o a thread in a longer piece, but since this was a short one I was hoping people would just tough it out to see where I was going Oh, and the tail-end dare that Sean made was a joke . . . he wasn't being serious I agree, if he were 'feeling Mark out after an emotional spark' it woulda been strange to ask to f**k right then. The guys use bad language w/ each other all the time, and he was just teasing back after Mark made the 'good-looking' comment. So, Mark's response woulda been a surprise . . . and as for what it meant, that is up to the reader

    Pitch Perfect

Um and I shouldn't write reviews at 12:45 am, hehe. I meant, I like where this IS going because I think it IS going to be good

  23. Hehe, yes it will be interesting, not even I know what it might be Thanks for all your encouragement!
  24. Oh Andy, don't you have the most reviews for the anthology? Hush, your stuff is great and people love it. I know what you mean about the 'writing what the people' want thing . . . been thinking about that a lot as I get to the end of my first story. As a writer you don't wanna do the exact same thing . . . but you know that's what the readers are kinda hoping for . . . it's hard. Don't have advice b/c I haven't crossed the threshold yet But um I really like Purpose and as soon as summer break comes I'm gonna devour it
