In the previous chapter, as well as this one and possibly some of the next, I'm considering a rewrite. Not fully, just edit it to a more agreeable standard. Some of it goes too far. My task as a writer, even as a hobby, is to entertain, not alienate and anger people.

I'm sorry to those readers that got angry; I would like to apologize to those thinking I advocate physical violence, of any kind. As a story device, this is as bad as it gets. It's pretty bad indeed, and in this current day and age (it's abhorrent in all ages, to my mind) a surefire jail-sentence or at least a trip to the police. I've re-read the story up to here, and I might actually have to rewrite some of this, and two or three other chapters, to tone it down. I wrote much of this years ago, and did not think. No excuse, of course. I don't wish to alienate anyone from here and possibly stop reading. It actually does get much more pleasant after this and I hope that one day soon, I may see those readers again. I personally address those who reacted with an angry icon and sincerely apologize if it gave offense. I shall do better: @Buz @Dr. John NYC, @Netvoyager , @mogwhy and @craigster3999

I read through it again as well, today; oof, there are some cringing moments. I don't like Mark so much, which is strange since I wrote it mostly from his point of view. I must've been in a pretty weird place, writing him that way. Fickle as all f***. As stories of mine go, this one ranks as the lowest in liking, to me. The best one I like to date is THAW, with The Butler gaining on it at superspeed to replace it as favorite. Thanks for re-reading!

I just finished reading this again. Parts of it made me cringe. Parts made me want to delete whole sections. There are good characters, but the structure runs off the track further on. All I can say is bear with it, muddle through. Apparently i did when writing it, yikes, lol. Then again, it's from 2004.

LOL! I am reading it again as well, this story, and i see a lot of similarities with other stories of mine. Gloria though, I haven't written anyone like her again. She's funny.
