  7. This is one of my favorite shorties. It kinda sums up everything that is sweet in first love. Nobody writes it better than you!

  10. As Freddie Mercuru sang, show must go on. I think the song kind of has everything in it about facing death with. I've been listening it a lot as a young gal and lately too. Mercury dying shortly after this song gave it even more important message. I'm so sad Mercury died, but he gave face to so many things: beign gay artist, Aids, masterful vocalist and performer etc. It's the legacy we leave behind that counts. Our childern, our friends and family. Everyone we hav once touched. Death should not be romanticed or idoliced. It is there always. I hope I'll have the courage to face it when time comes. I don't like losing loved ones, but in a way we should see death as a gift also. If everyone lived forever, would nothing really matter? Embrace life fully everyday and love the ones around you with all you've got. That's my goal.
  11. Well Lily you're not the only one who had to double take the window, a friend of mine thoughed it was a neightpor peeking in my usual activities And yes Neph and Frosty, my curtains rock!
  12. I amuse myself doing oldfashioned mindmaps when I do not have access to my lap top if inspiration hits. Or I draw a scene from the story. Never actually start writing it though... Try to cope! See u soon!

    Catara

Well Lugh, this is my very first scifi read in english (and in years, I might add). Your story got going really well with that interesting creation! And brotherly rivalry , always fun to watch.

  19. I'm starting to question my readig addiction... Is the quality of my reading experience taking a curwe down if I constantly have to look back on the previous chapters of what I'm rerading even in my favorite stories? I have about more than 10 stories, in process, that I read every time a new chappy appears. And I read complete stories as well daily. I keep forgetting the characters names, backrounds, happenigs etc andn lately I have been forced to go back with the stories. Have I reached the limet of my memory? Should I just take a step back and be more patient and let the author finish their work? It is a different thrill to read a complete story, but then again sharing the excitement with the other readers who anticipate chapters is fun too! Anyone else have the same problem? How do you deal with it? I think I'm not gonna start any new stories in a while. Noooo...Can't make that promise... Must.... Nooooo.... Help me!
  20. Can't you ask straight, no pun intended, from the one who geve the reference? Did this come irl or as a feedback for your story? I think you might need to explain a bit more if you want quidance... Australia is referred Down Under - what that could mean in your case, no idea Gonna ask around from my australian friends
  21. Firstly: Let's hope folks are ok in there. I believe in global warming just by watching the news and seeing the statistics. Poor polar bears too. I'm angry that we could have answers to turn the wheel back a bit or even slow down the warming prosess, but instead we just want more, more, more. Could we not settle for less? I'm talking both as a individual, western consumer and a part of human kind. Argh, got myself angry again thinking about the drowning polar bears...
  22. You can so well depict the gap between adult and teen emotions, loved the father-son interaction

    Gravity

This was a fun read! Teenagers, gnah! I could soo relate to Jace :)This online connections was belittled by Jace, but it obviously had ment a lot to him too, not just to Cody. Online connection can be as real as face to face sometimes.Cody, even when young and kinda innocent was so sweet and sure of what he wanted and obviously used the wearing tacticks on Jace. Even after being thrown out he stayed around and got a new job Cody came back for Jace. Being older doesn't always mean being wiser. You write such smart stories, me like!

    Over the Precipice

Somewhat hard to fallow with the pov at times, but then again the trouble might be just with me! Otherwise I think this was a really good stoy.So sad that Dallas wasn't able to let go from his ex. It was a bad call from get go of Alex to take him home. And such a realistic description how everything is not gonna be fine. People just don't make the right choices in real life.
