Wow, the final chapter…of this book…is upon us already; can’t wait for book 2. Loving these characters and the storyline @Mark Ponyboy Peters, I hope we may see them again before too long.

But him has now sharpened the sword to be used against him, when he could have trusted his little brother to keep him safe or to at least protect him when it became necessary; but choice for the soon to be king.

Oh for the love of power…a father lays dead, not by the hand of a war enemy but the hand of an entrusted son…his very own crown prince. 😢 Probably thinking his father trusted the young prince and sorcerer more than what had him feel secure in his on station as the crown prince; so the competition and the judge of his worthiness are to be eliminated. Yet the young sorcerer outperformed the chosen assassin. So once again, bad judgement, misjudgment, without communication, had the brothers to act as enemies…that only one brother believed they were. Now that brother has recharged the path his young powerful brother will take…perhaps with the help of an enemy ally that is even more powerful and scary to the gifted sorcerer than the crown prince could ever know.

I think that lone candle sticking up nice and straight, with icing glistening from its sides as the low lighting reflects the very smooth surface…of the overall package, and of that delectable and inviting candle rising from the surface.

That pen camera I feel, will capture nefarious dealings by happenstance; so ironically, not the filming artifacts, but another encounter. While Skye is a very good suspect, I don’t want to believe it’s Skye, but he does seem to fit the timeline, and would have overheard the counsel business concerning the dig.

Great thoughts as not only do Killian and Jacy share kindred gifts and social standards, their friendship has probably helped Killian avoid being drawn in by Skye; though being put off initially, Skye seems to adjust to what makes his prey more comfortable; so I call that a save. Their ease of conversation is a comfort to both; chicken or the egg, is it the comfort with each other making them talk, or the comfort of talking making them more comfortable being together? I think it their little subconscious interest in all that they do, that brings them closer together…naturally, and at a comfortable rate to encourage more….hopefully.

Then again, 19, probably most 19yo boys feel invincible, or it will be the other guy as I’m smarter, he definitely needs life experiences as most his age,…but he is getting a good collection of those experiences every day and every case. If he reaches 25 he should really start showing more than his teen boy approach to life. Now somewhere in there is bound to be a big IF, or a big BUTT…ok, maybe just a but. 🤷‍♂️ Ok, I was going to list all my teen intelligence experiences…but I really don’t have the patience to list all those…plus there’s those pesky statute of limitations issues too. 🤣

This could all have been avoided if he had just driven… quicker and had extra clothes on his mind as he rush to his cool sit in the woods… 🤣

Skye was rather self-centered and self-serving, at least as he appeared and then his lai-sez-fairy attitude to Killian giving his virginity to a met at the pow wow hookup.

Nope, he was in his room all night…until the military operation that,..that his mystics seemed to have suffered full body garrotings.

I was back to thinking the same as for the school rehearsals, Brayden knows all the lines, just let him “rehearse as realistic as he can” not know he was becoming a consideration for the actor position; so then when the director says let’s do a test…oh goody, Brayden’s going to be put in the hot seat…and surprise them all with the personality and natural presence. Well, I can day dream too!
