Depends on the neighborhood…

I tend to agree, but I had a friend that was very tactile as you called it so appropriately. He was so sensitive and caring. Even through time, he still is and you can bet you’ll get a hug once the first introduction is made, you are a known acquaintance, so hugs after that. German heritage and raised by mom. Having been terribly distraught years ago, he recognized that I was very down and out, he came up to me held my head while looking into my eyes, then he gave my a full lipped kiss, then while still holding my head he looked into my eyes and said I know you hurt, but we’re all here…this is where we all belong, where you belong. He has never show me or the other close friends a gay side, but he will read you and act when you need that sincerity that I’m with you brother.

The old saying that popped into my head as I read your comment was…TWO WRONGS DON’T MAKE A RIGHT. I still hear dad saying that even now. This is so true though, especially with retaliation breaking out nuclear dirty bombs, sinking a submarine as Plan B, and thinking the next terrorist is any more or less justified than you to push their agenda; dominoes? Set them up again guys, we have yet another terrorist taking the world stage.

Lacey is somewhat like the female Cody. The beautiful age of transition from total innocence to thinking they’re grown up and ready to make their own decisions…yet knowing they’re real not ready but yet still flapping their new wings to get the feel of possibilities. 🦅

Poor Celia, even her heart hurt to see Joel’s possessions tossed much the way she probably believes Joel’s parents did their son himself. Beyond the haphazardly boxed clothes, I believe she probably wasn’t totally happy with the volume of selections salvaged in these few boxes.

The undertones of Joel being curious to see, yet not want to join the fence team. Yet later, yearning to possibly walk down there to join. It’s great that he is somewhat allowing his human instincts for socialization to take hold. His former family and especially Cody where his safe place…now lost and leaving his small world even too small to tolerate being alone. 😢 Trace is already very much vested in Joel. Joel needs to understand their help and support is GIVEN FREELY and does carry a note of debt. Joel may start to understand more as he gains socialization with the boys and comes to realize he himself is becoming vested; first through his gratitude of rescue, then help, but now as they learn each other’s expectations, it’s hard to miss their sincerity in wanting him to be welcome…for as long as he wants. Which may before long, become an expectation that you’re one of us and you ain’t going nowhere without an expected return date! 🤲 Davin seems to be a delight. Very relaxed but perhaps more clairvoyant than his casual and playful demeanor has suggested previously. I’m not saying he knows enough to put Joel’s situation in context, but knows that he has to be hurting, perhaps more understanding that Joel shows how he feels, perhaps out of place whether unwelcome or unworthy. He made the effort to get to Joel, but help Joel know a little more about them. The sagging shoulders of Davin looking upon the bed that they probably know wasn’t slept in, but with Joel saying he wouldn’t be sleeping tonight… How do you leave a person feeling themselves an outsider and so troubled that they say sleep is/will be impossible. I believe the excuse of his twin spread across the bed may be more from his compassion than forwardness with a sensitive gaydar. Yes, at their ages sleep with a friend or having casual contact is not necessarily marking Davin as other than a compassionate and sensitive guy trying to help a lost soul not fly towards the light. 😇 Should Davin turn out to be gay, it doesn’t necessarily mean they will find mutual interest, but perhaps mutual understanding and support.

Why? Is he so self conscious that he can’t have a gay friend or acquaintance treated the same as others? That plays into the stereotypes of you can’t socialize with “them “ as you might catch the illness…of which is really nothing other than the assumption that by socializing with them it makes you one; though you may be and remain firmly in the virgin category. Somehow, I don’t see Davin as one to worry so much about assumptions. Perhaps he has his own history of hurt that touches him more than being thought gay because it shared an innocent bed.

How terribly ironic that a ruthless international terrorist/killer feels he is justified to the extent that mass killings and playing with dirty nuclear devices is justified. Yet the very circles of these “honorable” terrorist are all working their own angles to manipulate power and people to their own advantage; none trustworthy. Regardless of political leanings the election interference by international terrorism is nothing but a demented fool’s errand that people will and share respond as they so mandate…huh? Enrico has severe mental health issues, so obsessed in his vengeance that wilts an otherwise brilliant mind, that could achieve so much good, that it makes the him much worst than any claimed villain he hopes to out smart. What a waste of his intelligence.

A very good point there @drpaladin, since it’s hours vs days I would think it’s well within the critical timeline, but moving manpower and locking down compartments complicates the issue. God forbid issues with a breach involving air contamination… Perhaps again, protocols or Andrews inputs may have security prepared for these issues.

Don’t forget they’re preparing to do some docking, receiving a DSV, to recover seaman that may otherwise be lost before fulfilling their destiny. Definitely sounds like a hot and bothered night at a local Club Eros, cuming to a gayborhood near you; an asset to the community, uniting people to live and love their neighbors.

Ahhh, Andrew should be regaining his full faculties as we proceed. He knows the dangers hidden within the Northern Aegis corporation so as the operation moves towards docking there may be enough expectation and preparation to receive this wonderful rescue team; perhaps they’ll still be allowed to place those charges and set the timers as appropriately commanded by the Intelligence Officer requires. After all, this asset still holds too many valuable secrets to allow it to languish for other countries to possibly recover and gleam military secrets far beyond just the Acheron itself. The true shame of it all is that the mercenaries would be able to return topside versus leaving them suffer the fate of their planned sabotage; perhaps they’ll be allowed interrogation should be done before allowing them to joint the returning crewmen to topside. 🤔 Now that’s some real pressure to face when truthful answers will be your passage topside. 😆 Got to love turnabout on treasonous mercenaries, especially for profiteering on the deaths of young patriots.

Understand Min is straight, but he is very animated, very much alert, and observant, then he speaks intelligently on those observations and their meanings to Troy. So a gay version of Min would be what Troy is looking for. That’s not to say that Theo can’t be reached behind his isolationist shell, but based on what we’ve learned so far he his not Troy’s type; he’s too quiet and non interactive…thus far.

But Caleb is not claiming that the person is anything but an alibi, not a possible suspect. So justifying DNA tests and fingerprints for a person that has no witness even putting them there on that night is unlikely. Now if Caleb or anyone else said a person known to frequent that barn, came from the barn with an axe that night or had reason/motive then a suspect they could be. Preserving those items may be worthwhile though, as other witnesses or Caleb may yet come forward.

Hmmm 🤔, one that breaks Troy’s heart by not be open or saying boyfriend, yet this one says nothing, is a recluse and then even ignoring Troy. Yet Troy thinks he’s his type? I’m thinking the reset hasn’t taken hold in Troy’s mind yet. Find one like Min but that is into you.

Hmmm 🤔, figuring things out…with a quick trip of guilt pleasure, in the closet. As a 14yo, that closet needs clothes laundered again, as there’s no telling where all the closet monster snotted up those clothes. But that scene is classic of the guilt and yet he feels compelled to stay with Noah. As mentioned in an earlier comment, Nick ignored a message from Noah. However, remember that Nick didn’t even get a message from Noah on Thanksgiving; it was later and with less than a fully believable 14yo too busy to say hello to his boyfriend. So while it seems Nicky is cheating with Jack, I believe Noah is probably truly cheating on Nicky whenever he isn’t with Nicky himself. It just all adds up that Noah is not romantically mature, and is superficial in lust.

Lots of reasons for a person to hate Ira, but even more so when protecting Caleb after the fact…knowing that the cycle would continue. The hay loft was quite revealing, but maybe not the shenanigans of teenagers from across the fields to the back 40 would share in trans-hormonal years. It’s also hard to image quiet Caleb off buying condoms, though he could possibly steal them from the turd, assuming he ever used any. As usual, more threads to pull on, but perhaps nothing but red herrings on the other end.

The author, and chief engineer through this event, has a keen understanding of suspending the laws of thermodynamics at 300 meters in the North Sea; there is a volcanic water chimney in that exact area that is capable of keeping the Acheron and surrounding waters at approximately 16C/59F. That should give them the additional time needed to rescue Andrew and battle his hypothermia. 🤡
