I'm a HUGE RPG guy and an even bigger BioWare fanboy. Such a big fanboy that I'm gonna pre order The Old Republic even though I usually hate MMOs. I just hope it's as story driven as they claim. I love games like Neverwinter Nights, Baldur's Gate, Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Deus Ex, Alpha Protocol (yes I liked it, sue me), Fallout (only 3 and New Vegas though. I don't like the older games at all), Knights of the Old Republic, pretty much any Western RPG. I also LOVE stragtegy games like Europa Universalis 3, Victoria 2, EU: Rome, the Total War series, Fire Emblem games, Soul Nomad and the World Eaters, the Civilization games, Tropico, and a lot more. Sonic, Mortal Kombat, I could probably go one for ever. My favorite game series is Metal Gear Solid though. Total fanboy for those games. Actually, now that I think about it, the only genres I stay away from on general principal are racing games, post 90's platforming games and most XBL "indy" games.

I hate when characters (and people) say "I could care less" when they mean "I couldn't care less". I could care less means you do currently care. I also HATE when characters feel the need to say the name of the person they're talking to in almost every sentence. "What do you think of that, Joe?" "Well, Alex, I think it's kinda stupid." "I agree, Joe. It is pretty dumb." It gets really annoying. People know who they're talking to. They shouldn't need to constantly say their name. Give your readers some credit that they can follow a conversation without needing to be constantly reminded who's saying what to who. Oh, and it kinda bothers me when people who the phrase "the older man" to describe someone who's only 4 or 5 years older than the other character. When I read "older" I automatically picture a guy in his late 40's and it kinda screws with my mental picture when it's being used to describe a guy much younger who just happens to be a few years older than someone else. That's more of a personal thing than a legit complaint though.

I'd like to add something to the "wait till you're 18" thing. If you think there's a chance you'll get kicked out don't just wait till you're 18. Wait till you have a stable job and can support yourself. It doesn't do you any good being an unemployed legal adult without a place to live or any means to get one.

Awww! That was a really sweet story. I liked it. Definitely one of the better written first stories I've read in a while. Good job b^_^

Ok, no one seems to be asking the obvious, logical question here. How the hell can a SNAIL terrorize the community? Oh no! Look out! It's slowly leaving a tiny slimy trail behind! The horror! Or maybe a better question, if you have the power to shape shift why the hell wouldn't you pick ANYTHING OTHER THAN A SNAIL?! A turtle, or a hamster even, would be more terrifying.

Honestly, not really. I pretty much dealt with all my major problems before ever finding this site but if I didn't I'm sure one of you guys would have helped me figure some stuff out a LOT faster than my lazy ass ever did, lol. This site did expose me to some really great writers and stories though so, while that isn't as life changing as most of the other stories posted here, it did make me think a bit differently about what makes up a good story.

It's also hilariously bad and incredibly fun to watch with friends and make fun of. That's why I watch them. Ghouls had an unintentionally invincible horse FFS! How is that not awesome?

Ok, I usually hate being asked to talk about myself without specific questions but I'm gonna do this anyway. I'll think of it as a self betterment exercise or something new agey like that......except I'm not new agey at all so maybe it's just me being bored. Yeah, that fits better. Anyway.... Ahem! My name's Dan and I've been a member here since....*checks profile* November apparently. I can't remember exactly what brought me here but I know it was probably a link from Nifty or a link from a site that I got linked to from Nifty, lol. I really didn't get into gay stories until like right before I joined here and now I'm at the point where it's pretty much all I read. This site has some pretty damn good stories and writers but what amazes me most is the community. This is the only online forum thingy I've ever been on where literally everyone is nice. You guys don't even have a single full time troll, it's insane. But awesome. And this site has the best emoticons too, lol. Ummmm, ok so more about me right? Ok. Um, I'm 24, painfully shy around people I don't know and painfully me around people I do. Technically I'm bi because I'm attracted to girls but I like guys way more and I'd never ever ever date a girl again. Not that I'll need to be worrying about dating anymore because I have the greatest boyfriend ever. His name's Nate and we've been together for about three and a half years now and he's perfect and I love him to death. And I'll stop talking about him now because I tend to not once I get started, lol. I like anime (especially yaoi), gay romance novels (as long as they're not too angsty), pro wrestling, video games Star Wars, Star Trek and until the day I die I'll rage at Firefly being canceled after only one season. And I guess that's mostly it. Yay! I actually talked about myself. Too bad this wasn't a new agey self improvement thing because it might have worked.

I never really thought about it. I guess if hell froze over and me and my boyfriend got a kid we'd probably both just be dad unless the kid got annoyed with not being able to call the one he/she wanted and gave one of us a new name.

For me it's The Mothman Prophecies and The Ring. Totally freak me out every time I see them. To this day I get antsy around tube TV's and won't look at the screen when it's turned off in case I see something that even looks a little bit like a creepy ghost girl.

Usually the description and the tags are what pulls me in. I prefer semi light hearted romance stories with high school age characters but I'm open to anything that draws me in. One thing that really annoys me is vague descriptions. I also kinda prefer stories that are completed but sometimes if it seems like something that I'd really like I'll start reading after a few chapters are out.

Why does all this awesome stuff get invented AFTER I'm done with school? *sigh*

Agreed. And while we're talking about sex scenes can I add in "throbbing"? It may just be me but unless I'm doing something to it my dick has never just throbbed in it's life.

Well the quiz says I'm either a wolverine or an owl but I think I'd wanna be a monkey. I'd love to be able to jump around and climb things while still being able to enjoy a blow job.

I read every bit of dialogue and story details but I usually skim descriptions, especially if they're detailed. I'd rather have a basic picture and fill in the blanks in my head than try to imagine a detailed room where 90% of the detail is just stuff laying around.
