Billy Brat, you changed your name. lol I was intrigued that "Andy" brought up some unpleasantness over here on GA. And I thought the guy lived in Palm Beach County, Florida b/c many of "his" stories took place there. In fact, we had many conversations about Palm Beach County b/c I had lived there for a little while. He knew all about it. I was even editing a book for him that was posted on here. He was publishing it with an online publisher. Funny, what he did affected a lot of people. Well, not funny, but I was just surprised to see his name again. I was just thinking about him the other day b/c I still have all his chapters saved in my Word files. Anyway...back to the review. This was a terrific chapter, Billy. My heart was in my mouth when Andy fainted. I sure hope he's right about being cured from that horrible disease. And of course he and his dad are just wonderful people. I think if everyone had people like Andy and his dad in their lives, there would be no rapes, murders, burglaries, etc. You can learn so much from them (yes, even Andy), and they are so generous and kind to others, it's amazing. Billy, you always leave me saying, "Shit, it's the end of the chapter. Damn," And then I refresh the page hundreds of times looking for another one. lol Great job, Billy!

Damn, that was too short. Did Xavier forget what Axel really wanted for his b-day? Didn't he tell him what he wanted up in that tree? I think Axel is going to be very appreciative of what X's family has done for his birthday, but more importantly, I think he will appreciate what X did for him even more. Looking forward to the next chapter, Joe!

Boy Xavier learns fast! I'd have to write it down phonetically and study it for hours! He's a quick learner.lol I think it will mean so much to Axel that Xavier took the time (and initiative), to learn the German version of "Happy Birthday". Ok, on to the party! I see it's up. Have no clue where I've been hiding that I missed these two chapters...

I think Ben's just used to people using him for who he is or what he can give them. I don't think he's used to someone liking him just for him. It's gonna be very hard (no pun intended! Getcha mind outta the gutter, Thorn! lol), for Ben to turn Mark away. I think his feelings are too invested now. Awesome chapter, as always. I just love the way you write, Thorn!

I wonder what mom's surprise is for Corey? Oh, maybe she'll take a shotgun and off that s.o.b. who calls himself Corey's father. What an ass he is. His "father", not Corey. I loved the slight awkwardness that C&C showed after the shower and in the bed. I thought it was very believable how tentative they were towards each other. And little did mom know that she should be worried about Corey staying at Clinton's and not Jenny's. lol As always, Krista, you leave me wanting more. That's why I waited a few days to read this - so the wait between chapters wouldn't be as long. lol

No one wonder Zupan hates shopping and trying on clothes! It must be so frustrating when people can't see you in the chair because the counter is in the way. Totally cracked up picturing Zu and Bay sitting down on the benches in the mall waiting for their "wives" to finish shopping. lol And wait! Why was Zupan even thinking that he wanted to wear clothes that were easier to take off - is he planning on (GASP!!!!) seducing Zander?????? Seducing him with promises of blow jobs? lol Terrific chapter, Sasha! Oh, Zupan told Zander to meet him at some chocolate place restaurant, but when Issac asked him where they're going Zupan said something completely different...

Hmm, maybe Tiffany was getting greedy. Maybe she wanted more than a wham, bam, thank-you-ma'am from Pappa Baker. Maybe she wanted jewels, furs, vacas, homes on the Riveria. lol Maybe she was threatening to tell Step-Mamma Baker. Maybe Pappa Baker told Mark to get rid of the bodyguard, and off Tiffany, b/c he knew his son could get off...how old is the kid again? I thought he was over eighteen. Wait, you can't carry a gun unless you're a certain age, right? Well, maybe Pops thought his set of attorneys could get Mark off. Maybe he's playing it all calm, cool, and collected, not wanting to see his son, etc., but that might be all an act. He may have a plan to get his kid out of that mess. Unless he told his kid to do that and he really doesn't give a shit about him. That would really suck. lol I used to really dislike Mallory, but now I like her. She was pretty cool with Travis. Really funny in fact. I feel badly for Travis; it's obvious Pops hit a raw nerve or something from the way Travis is acting now. Can't wait to find out what's in his past. Oi, now I have to wait till you update later. I can't get enough of this story, meanderings.

Totally agree w/Daithi, as usual. lol I can never beat her reviews. She's always spot-on. We know Jason walked Travis home just to be able to talk with him some more. But really, what does Travis think? Even if Jason was head over heels, he's gonna play it cool. He's the boss, after all. Hey, I see you updated! lol Ok, on to chapter seven.

Dan's mom may say that her and his dad will always be there for him "no matter what", but the real test will be when he tells them the truth. If he ever does. Maybe she has an inkling why he's saying all this about the church and God. I don't know. I just feel heartbroken for him b/c he already knows what his parents will say or do if he ever tells them. It's hard for me to imagine a parent putting the church or God ahead of their child. It just reinforces my feelings that if parents are not going to love their child unconditionally, then they shouldn't have a child. If they are going to put God in front of their child if their child tells them something they don't want to hear, they shouldn't have children. They should just keep going to church and believing in some book written centuries ago, some book where the writers had no clue that every human being should be treated equal, that there shouldn't be any discrimination. I've never read the Bible. I'm Jewish and I've never read the Siddur in its entirety, just bits and pieces when I had to endure sitting through services when my kids were going for their Bar Mitzvahs. But based on what Dan said about Lot and what he did, how can God accept someone like Lot who abused his own daughters like that, and not accept someone based on who he loves? It just doesn't make any sense to me. They say God loves all his children. Obviously that is not true. He doesn't love the children who lay with their own gender. So obviously God doesn't love all animals. The animal kingdom is filled with animals who are only attracted to their gender. That's been going on since the beginning of time. Anyway...enough of my pitiful knowledge of Theology. lol Lucky I'm not a priest. I'd run the service like a PFLAG meeting. Great chapter, Circle, even though it was very sad.

I thought it was very realistic the way Matt was afraid of taking things further with Andy, even though he initiated the contact. I also thought it was perfect that he lost his v-card to Andy, whom he loved more than he was ever willing to admit. He was afraid of his feelings for Andy throughout the story and at the end of this installment, he showed Andy, rather than told him, how much Andy meant to him. I'm glad you changed the relationship between Andy and Dillon than what you had orginally planned If Dillon had raped Andy in the beginning and forced him to have a sexual "relationship" with him, I'm not sure Andy could ever learn to love that. I don't consider what Dillon and Andy did at any point was rape. Andy was willing and he consented. Even though he was only fifteen, he was not forced or coerced in any way. And I believe in his young, teenage mind, that he was in love with Dillon and that his feelings were reciprocated. I'm sure people will disagree with me thinking that Dillon was older and he should have known better. And we don't know exactly the relationship Dillon had with the other two boys. When they were at the party they didn't seem fearful of Dillon. If someone is continually raping you and abusing you that way, you would think you'd be terrified of this person, your personality might change, your grades might drop, you might lose interest in anything that you loved doing before, you might spend days in your room never wanting to come out, you might turn away all your friends, etc., etc. I didn't see this happening with Andy or the two other boys. Of course not all rape victims react the same way, but I guess what I'm trying to say is that I didn't interpret the other boys' behavior towards Dillon as fearful. I probably opened up a whole can of worms and now I'll get hate mail... I do want to learn more about Dillon and why he felt the need to have these kinds of relationships with younger boys. I'm also curious to find out who told on him, so I look forward to the next installment. Terrific job, Uplifted!

I like the way Cory was egging his dad on. I can definitely relate to Jason getting all choked up when he realizes his only child is growing up. i didn't realize Cory was adopted. I wonder what happened to his mom. And he's pretty cool, wanting to spend time with his grandmother. Without his dad sort of forcing him to. Not sure if other twelve year olds would do the same. Funny tidbit: James Scott, Jason's dad, shares his name with a British actor who is on one of the Cali soaps.

I can just picture it now - Zu Googling how to give head. lol Hey, maybe Wikipedia will tell him, err, or show him. You wouldn't believe the pictures you can find on Wiki. haha And I agree with the other reviewers, Bay has certainly grown up in these past ten months. =)

Hey, I saw Bo Burnham songs listed to the right of your songs.lol My kids LOVE him. Anyway...Tom's song was PERFECT!! And I did not know that the lyrics for that song and Scott's song were what they were. Did that even make sense? lol I always heard the radio version and had no clue that there was another (better), version out there! I also love "Bridge Over Troubled Water" and "Wind Beneath My Wings" always makes me tear up. Suze is the BEST! She is crass, but so, so funny! She would be like, such an awesome friend to have. I'm even happy for Will. Even though I didn't like what he did to Scott, it's all in the past, and Scott is trying to let it go and it was a nice gesture inviting him out (only to set him up w/Jason, lol). I'm glad they're getting along. =) I really enjoyed this chapter, Fitz! Hope you're having a happy 4th!

No wonder Michael seems so angry all the time. Poor guy. I know it's horrible to lose a parent at such a young age. I was a little bit older when my dad died, but I had to be the mom of the family actually since my mom sort of went off the deep end. So I understand Michael's pain. I'm sure Asher will be there to help him with his anger issues. Maybe then he can come to terms with the parts of himself that he's hiding from and face his issues head on so he can finally be happy. =) LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Lana! What an awesome character she is!! I hope to see more of her in the future.

I am certainly learning a lot about horses! lol Rhyder has learned a lot in those three days on Shura. Not only riding, but feeding the horses, grooming them, etc. There is a lot of work that entails taking care of horses. Caleb started out being a little mean to Rhyder, but I think he's impressed by all Rhyder learned in the past three days. I can't imagine riding a horse and at the same time using the lasso to lasso something (or somebody, lol), in. It looks so easy in the movies, but it sounds really hard when you read about it. There is so much concentration just on riding, never mind having to concentrate on not falling off while you're throwing that lasso around! lol

I agree with everyone else; Rhyder needs someone his own age. He knows now how much Sam loves Caleb (that was a beautiful story, btw ), and he shouldn't even THINK about doing anythng to ruin that. I think if there was another boy who grabbed his interest and who returned it, he can slowly start to think of Sam as a friend and mentor and not anything more. Ok, on to chapter four.

I agree with Daithi; I think once the detectives in the department see that Travis is making valid points and he may be right on all counts, they will look beyond their first impression of him. At least Jason is now it seems. And Travis is smart. If the two boys were involved in a scuffle with the gun, and the girl was turned the other way, could the bullet have hit her heart? Could it go through her back to her heart? I don't know, but I can't wait to read more!

Man meanderings, I can't keep up with you! lol I really like Corey, he's cute. And smart. And ballsy - he doesn't have any problem with going right to his dad's boss for info. lol The way the chapter ended it seemed like Jason was gay...or was that just a regular thing for Corey to ask his dad - if the recruit was hot? lol I did feel a bit sorry for Travis. He was being good the rest of the day and Jason was kind of nasty to him when Travis asked about dinner places. Ok, on to chapter four.

This was a sad chapter. My heart broke for Matt when he had to tell the officers, his parents and Andy's parents what Dillon had done to him. And of course I do feel bad for Dillon. I really think that he didn't realize what he was doing was wrong. And in his own way he may have loved Andy, at least as much as knew what love was. Although of course he could have been telling that to the two other boys also. Who knows. Great job Spirit!

Well, Travis certainly didn't make a great impression, especially on Jason and Mallory. I hope he'll be able to reign in his quick tongue. lol Oh, I meant to mention this in my review of the first chapter, totally unrelated to the story: there's an actor named Jason Scott who used to be on One Life to Live. When I saw the name I was like, I know there's an actor by that name somewhere... Looking forward to the next chapter. Oh, and meanderings, I have a complaint: THE CHAPTERS ARE TOO SHORT!!! LOL
